Grand Marnier is freakin' amazing. It's an orange cognac, but when used as a mixer it's used as an ultra smooth triple-sec replacement. I was initially between Cointreau and GM for which one I preferred for margaritas. I bought Cointreau and have regretted it ever since.

What really opened by eyes was when my friend who's really knowledgeable about alcohol ordered a GM straight. I was very skeptical as I've never been a "sipper", but I tried it and it was unbelievable. Just have to trust me on this one 😎

lol, for sure. I will warn you, despite it being the smoothest thing I've ever tasted, it is still 80 proof, so don't expect to be sipping Malibu here lol. Also, depending on the bar, might cost you about 7-10 bucks.

Haha. Although malibu is my favorite in mixed drinks, I cannot sip it. I can't really handle sipping most things.

Plus, I live in Boston so most drinks are 7-10. Makes for some very expensive nights 🙁

Crap, then GM might be a little more. If you don't like sipping, then try it if you want, but what you may try instead is order a margarita with patron and gm. That will blow your mind.

I'm more of a morning person, but not THAT early. 9 AM classes are optimal. Unfortunately, Anatomy is only taught at 8 AM (same as Biochem last semester (gag)) Though, I do like that my class days on Thursdays end at 11 AM....with no class on Friday! 😀

Holy crap Tata, you didn't get into Emory?! I'm so sorry! Normally I do not encourage this type of thinking at all, but in this case, it totally applies: you do NOT want to go to a school that doesn't think you're the absolute awesomest s*** ever and is totally missing out on having you.

Hell, they should make a general email announcement to all accepted students letting them know so that they can withdraw because they really just wanted to come to Emory to attend school with Tata. I call shenanigans.

REALLY depends on the gin. I am very particular. If it tastes like pine needles or TOO ginny, throw that garbage down the toilette.

Bombay Sapphire + Good Tonic + squirt of lime. Tanqueray sucks though I haven't tried the Rangpur. How's that?

would anyone be willing to proofread 2 pages of LOI crap for me? two (very similar) letters, each one page. just need to make sure there are no glaring errors or really dumb statements. thanks.

I've heard it "adds the lime for you" and only good things, but since I hate Tanqueray so much (almost ruined gin for me because it was my first), if it even tastes remotely like that did, I'll mix it with 151 just so that I can light it on fire and watch it burn.
