I took a 2 hr nap today. It was pretty epic. Not sure what this means since I regularly go to bed at 4.
 
Analytical Chemistry makes me want to :bang: Test tomorrow, and it was still hard to motivate myself to study or do any practice problems at all. So. Boring.

I took that shiz sophomore year. Besides my incompetent professor, I actually enjoyed the material. I was inspired for a moment to take Instrumental Analysis. That moment went away VERY quickly.
 
I hate when i'm so stuffy and unable to breathe that I wake up every 5 minutes.

I tried to take a 2 hr nap about ... 4 hours ago and just woke up right now. My sleep schedule is going to be all screwed up now

Have most of you guys taken anatomy prior to when you'll start med school?

I've never taken any anatomy in my life. I think I'm most worred about this class because I don't like straight-up memorizing tedious things.

I saw much, much worse in my ~10 mins on there with my roommates. Maybe next time I'll try it at noon... 🙄

I took anatomy here, really disliked it, we had cadavers and everything and I'm bracing myself for even more pointless hours in the lab. It really is straight memorization, the novelty wore off after probably 3 or so hours in lab.

I had taken it in both high school and college. It hasn't ended up being particularly helpful because those classes focused on big things (muscles and bones) whereas med school is way more concerned with nerves and vessles.

Thats how i feel too! im all about understanding and minimizing the memorization but you gotta do what you gotta do! im just worried most of the anatomy stuff are not going to be familiar to me like physiology, molec bio, etc would..

maybe i shouldn't worry about these things for the next 6 months 😛

Yeah, I think anatomy is just something you have to power through. On the other hand, some schools I visited had interesting curricula for teaching it and tried to do things like incorporate anatomy with surgical cases to make it not so rote and boring, so that wouldn't be as bad
