For some reason, I feel anatomy will sit better with me than biochemistry, immunology, and embryology. It just seems to fit in more with the things I've been good at in the past.

M1 curriculum scares me a bit, because not much of it seems extremely clinically relevant, therefore boring. M2 looks a lot more exciting to me and it has things I feel I can do a lot better in.
 
happy anniversaries to you cool cats with SOs. i am going to be so OTP in med school... my last relationship ended in september, so it will have been like 11 months by the time school starts...

i dont think i've ever considered someone to be my girlfriend. i tried it once and found it to be too much effort on one person. def gonna stay single like kraft

also it's really confusing when you guys refer to louisiana as LA
 
Id rather be single then in the relationship I am now lol 😛. I think its 6 years now...i lose track.

Yeah, I try to avoid it as much as possible. But LA as a state abbreviation is more important than an unofficial city abbreviation, no? State>city

Plus, I just really hate typing Louisiana - have you ever tried typing it continuously? It sucks. 😛

i think it's on the prowl? i had to think about it for a minute haha

and i think i win the single award along with brooklyn-i've dated people but never had an "i'm your girlfriend, you're my boyfriend" sort of relationship. it's not that i don't want to eventually, i guess i just don't want to settle just to be in one and so far i've never had it work so when i like someone, they like me too, don't live 5 states away, aren't in a relationship, etc.

I know that feeling. I'm convinced that once we get to med school, we'll be able to find guys that are good for us. Or maybe I'm just being super optimistic.
 
oh relationships. since I didn't get into Vanderbilt I'm going long-distance for a bit.

:laugh: the only time i dropped a weight on myself was when i was doing one rep of like a 80 lb barbell total just to stretch out a little bit in between working out my back. i wasnt like trapped or anything, the weight just just collapsed cuz my wrist or arm like turned backwards


it was mad embarassing so i had to randomly do a set of 225 to up my street cred
 
i def dont wanna be with a doctor. i want someone completely opposite, if at all. like... a murderer?

guyski's lucky, he got a journalist, that's gonna be an exciting life w/ good conversations and stuff

No you don't. I haven't been in a relationship since early high school. And that was for like two weeks. And my only one in my life. No one beats me.

I know someone who has never kissed anyone, by choice. Believe me, she has to shoo boys off like flies.
I hate it when she complains about it...because I don't know what to say- "sorry that you are hot?"

Just need AChem to fulfill a Chem minor... I'd drop it but I put it on all my apps and it got mentioned in a few interviews, so I need to finish it. The class truly sucks. I have a test in half an hour. I don't even care.

Congrats! will be 3 years for us in april. Probably won't have to go LD 'cause she's a rockstar grad school applicant and got into WashU's biochem program less than a week after interviewing! 😱 She's got interviews at all the places I interviewed at, she's actually at UChicago interviewing today. They took her out to a Cuban restaurant last night downtown. /jealosy

Hate stats like that, makes me sad. Doesn't help that medical professionals are on the wrong side of that mean statistic.
