Class of 2014!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
i find it to be the total opposite, i find wayyyyy more girls in shorts or skirts in freezing weather

maybe we just notice the opposite gender more

Ohhhh when girls' slutty butt cheeks are hanging out, EVERYONE notices.

Looks like forum maintanenance. What shall I do without SDN.

Good luck, Myuu.

By the way, anyone know how long the maintenance will take tonight?

Is this taking you an extra year or are you just going hardcore and doing it in four? And what do you do with this besides gain knowledge?

Just curious.

We can only do it in four, to my knowledge. It complements the MD curriculum really well, so I think I have a more solid understanding of what things are going on where and why that's important.👍

...plus it's just neat. :d

Embryo on Tuesday.

Dual degree programs can be tough.😳

I have declared the rest of today a national SDN holiday, though. Celebrate as you see fit.

oh. i'll take back my "woo hoo!" then and save it for Tuesday. at least it's the weekend!

as of right now it's UCSD, but financial aid could change things drastically. i'm also waiting to hear back post-interview from a handful of schools, too... so we'll see

Cool.

It really bugs me how long schools take to get back to you after interviews. Shouldn't they know already?

Who's ready for summer!?

my parents just say the opposite of whatever i say

me: mom, i think i'm gonna hit up miami for med school
mom: what the **** are you gonna do about all your loans. miami is expensive, go the md phd route

me: yea i think life would be so much easier if i went md/phd. some research is actually pretty interesting
dad: man, **** your research. 4 years of phd = 4 years of money lost as a doctor

i totally stopped thinking about med school though. im gonna consider some other career options and see if i can find an exciting alternative. if not, theres always med school in august

How do you feel about this?

My dad is the opposite, FWIW.

IDK, I'm def. not against going to one of the LSU's. I still think I'd have fun and like it. And I've become more money conscious as time has gone on.

I've basically come to the conclusion that if any one school is substantially cheaper, I can't really turn that down. I'm stingy, what can I say?

My parents are just oblivious to the whole situation but supportive. They don't really know what's going on right now at all . Ohhh parents.

You're nuts. Are you one of those people that can't stay still or do the same thing for more than 5 minutes?

I have, too. A couple of months ago it was easy for me to say I'd pick any school over LSU and now I'm not quite sure.

Yeah, my mom doesn't even know I've applied for medical schools most likely...

Plus if I go to LSU-NO, I'd maybe be able to get LSU student tickets at some point. But then I'd have to like the Saints. 👎 😛

So you can't just get them, there's a waiting list? That's lame.

The way I hear most people talk from LSU-NO, they don't have enough time to pull their noses out of a book and take a crap, much less go to a football game. 🙄
