i am never going to bed early again.
woke up this morning feeling like someone beat me up.
clearly adequate sleep is not conducive to my well being.

Same here... If I have too much sleep, I am also very lethargic throughout the day.

well last time we got 28.5 inches and in dec, we got 23.5, but we got those on friday night-saturday so i still had to go to work

this one will be wednesday morning, so probably not. i need to come in for some cell culture work though
 
so last night i had a dream that i was in an MCAT class with a bunch of you 2014ers. How lame am I?

i miss poptarts, especially the chocolate ones 🙁 as part of my veg thing i decided to stop eating gelatin, and unfortunately its in pop tart frosting. so i can only eat the blank ones, and they are weak sauce.

blank ones are not even worth it.
i have stashes in my office of the fiber one chocolate bars...chocolate poptarts....chocolate candy...I think you get the idea lol

Plus...one of our patients brought all of the laaaadies a box of chocolate each for V day. 😀
 
i had a dream that i took a lab mice home and tried to keep it as a pet, but it didnt wanna go in its sick cage so it kept biting me

gar, Colorado is desperiteeeeee for snow. Ive been doing gthe snow dance for days (big holiday coming up)...looks sorta like the potty dance. 😛

seriously though i often have dreams about animals biting me . . . also i have dreams that cats dig their claws into my skin and won't let go . . . WTF? does this mean something? or does it just mean i hate small animals with sharp teeth and claws?

Agreed!

That was nice of the patient! Was it good chocolate (i.e., Hershey) or bad chocolate (i.e., the cheap stuff)?

If dreams ever mean anything, I think it's the feeling associated with them that's most important. So if you felt really anxious during your cat claw dreams, then you might be feeling very anxious about something in real life, something unimportant (small) that is hard to get rid of or let go.

Do not hate me but it was like Godiva level chocolate. It is gone now...so much for Valentines day celebration 😛.

I had a dream that made me mad...this girl I effing hate cause she made my sophomore year unbearable and I made up. woke up pissed off and tired lol but then relieved that it was a dream.

I am so glad all the football talk is over! I just have to avoid this thread during those times. I just don't have anything to contribute to the conversation.

I haven't gotten to watch a single episode of it because of where I'm staying this semester. We don't get that channel! 🙁 And I really just haven't had the time to watch it on hulu.
 
So, I just completed my FAFSA. My guess is I'm too late for any grant money or scholarships. Add on to that the ticket my university just gave me.....I'm starting to really hate how money controls things.

That's not true at all. It's hard to get this stuff done much earlier. Lots of people don't get their tax forms until last week of January.

Yeah, that's when I got mine and my mother's didn't get all of hers together until last week. I guess I figured with all us pre-medical students being super proactive that most people would have sent in estimated information in early January.

I don't think so. From what I understand, you're still pretty early if you submit now. The rush period is just a shorter window of time between mid-Feb and March, I think.

If you're too late, I'm really screwed! :laugh: My parents can't complete their taxes until the end of February because of a business investment form that will not reach our hands before the third or fourth week of Feb. I e-mailed several schools and they all said end of Feb. is fine, so I'd say you're golden. 👍

Most schools don't even start doing scholarship/grant assignments until mid-March. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'd say there's no chance of you missing out on anything due to being late.

Eh? The earliest deadline I've seen is March 1st. I haven't even started working on it.

A lot of schools actually have between March 1st and April 1st as a priority date. That's if you want your info/packages by May 5th or something, which I don't know why you wouldn't want your info by then.

So my dad is super against this FAFSA thing. He just emailed me that he doesn't want to disclose info about his income/etc. and that because of what he makes, I probably wouldn't receive any aid anyways. I don't care much because he has some sort of plan for me if I get in.. but will NOT filling a FAFSA be detrimental to me in any way shape or form at the schools?
