Probably not the real thing, but Uno's has a good Chicago deep dish. I love the one with sausage, mozzarella, and chunks of tomato. Mmmm, so tasty.

on another note, fafsa is being ******ed!!!!! is it so hard to understand that you can be independent and still live with your parents!!!! it keeps giving me an error saying you indicated youre single yet you have more than 2 people in your family!! did any of you guys have that problem or am i missing something?
 
i love ny styles, i have to fold my pizza

chicago is weird though, cuz they have different tasting water in that city

I'm not sure if I get this but.

If you are doing it for grad schools, then you are independent. If you are independent, the only people in your family are yourself, your spouse, and your own kids. Your parents or siblings do not count as family if you are independent.

Or you could just do like me and not drink tap water.

I've always had spring water since I was little. My roommates said you couldn't tell the difference, but I beat them in a blind taste test for different types of water.

Then, you are a dependent. And I think almost every student is considered a dependent under a certain age (24?). I lived away from my parents and was still considered a dependent according to FAFSA. Anyone, please correct me if I'm wrong. But, if you put that you're going to be a graduate student, which you will be, then you'll be an independent.

You don't drink BR tap water???? You're missing out. And yes, spring tastes different than tap water. Better than most, worse than BR tap.

did you guys all put one if you're single? so it wont matter how many people live in your family?

also when it says how many ppl in ur household are gonna be in college, does it count if its your sis/bro or it has to be your spouse or kid too? =/

For just chicken and rice?! haha. I also went to this "specialty mac n cheese" place that was just a hole in the wall near FIT and it was so good.
 
So sad that there's really no good pizza places in Arizona. It's all Pizza Hut, Papa John's, etc. At least we have good Mexican food, and that's about it.

:laugh:. I can definitely tell the taste of Dasani, though. It tastes like the plastic bottle it's in.

yea its a platter of chicken/lamb and rice with some lettuce. they have this sick white sauce and really spicy hot sauce. you should hit it up after a night out, its pretty poppin. its a cart and its zagat rated 10

im def. considered independent and it says it too before asking if i wanna enter parent's info.. but for number of family members i assumed it was people you live with!!

Then it'll just be 1 unless you have a spouse and/or children.
 
boooo and i thought finally i could put more than one in college!!! just wondering though would the siblings (dependent ones) in undergrad have to put one too since i will be in grad school? or it wont matter for their case!! btw sorry for the boring fafsa talk in bet all the delicious food conversations 😀

I don't know. I don't see the big deal about BR tap even though it's supposedly one of the best in the country. I just don't like any tap.

But I can tell the difference between bottled water, tap water, and filtered tap water. I use a PUR filter, that tastes closer to spring water - way better than Brita.

So, you are automatically considered independent since it's grad school. Put 1 person in your family unless you are married or have kids.

speaking of sleep schedule.. i woke up 2 hrs late today and just got up 15 min before the time i was supposed to be at work 😱 as much as i was freaked out it secretly felt sooooo good 🙂

Doesn't matter if I get 7 hours of sleep or 2. I will snooze till 20 mins to go, brush, shower, scrub up, eat cereal, and a banana on the way :laugh:

I soooo need to learn how to cook. If it seriously involves more than 5 ingredients, I'm not making it. I'm really hoping I do my residency in NYC because of all the great food.

Yeah... NYC? Fatness calls, lol. But... you would probably do a lot of walking.

Also, maybe Brook can help me answer this question. Are there any grocery stores in NYC. I mean, come on! Those little markets don't look like they would cut it for me....
