They did when I was posting last night and woke up again at like 2am.

I don't really see how that thread was fighting for justice or whatever. Just seemed to me like someone getting pissed off and making a big deal out of it. 🙄

I agree with Elijah - isn't the process supposed to weed these people out? Except for WashU, they seemingly don't count or care.

lol @ the washu thing. And you are right brookyln. At the "top" schools ive been at the people just seem to be out there/elitist/etc...More down to earth people seem to be at the "other" schools. Granted this is anecdotal so w/e😛. I guess most people can fake it for two 30 min interviews (at least most people should be able too) but nonetheless still makes me wonder.

thank god im not going to any of those schools. On the other hand ksmi, dw, and guyski i think are accepted at most of those places😛. I thought about this too. Maybe hes just messing with people and is having fun. Id prefer this train of thought. Anyone that stupid in real life scares me. Especially if they are going into medicine.

I'm very glad I have no chance of being his classmate.

I would hope he is messing with people, but if so then he is devoting tons of time and energy to it because he's been doing it for a while now.

I also hope he talks differently than he posts.

I am not going to any of those schools. Unless he gets in to WashU, there's zero chance of us being at school together.

I missed it as well. Anyone remember what it was? I read through the thread so I assume it was a PM between Caesar and bannie about some remark bannie posted from YouTube.

it was basically bannie linking to his post here (http://more.studentdoctor.net/showthread.php?p=9239158#11), talking about how he's not homophobic and was using the post "sarcastically," and then ranting about how he got an infraction for it and calling out the mod, telling him to respond in the thread rather than over PM so that SDN could have transparency, justice, change, etc

I've been living/working abroad for the year and we have Ash Wednesday off. Talk about culture shock. I didn't even know it was Ash Wednesday this week. But yay for holidays!

And I know it's a bs holiday, but I'm not complaining. We also get Patriots Day off for the Marathon. 👍
 
So a study abroad person came to talk to my French class and it made me super depressed for never having done it. I would have loved too but I didn't want to play catch up with my major =/

Yeah, but Mardi Gras day is the worst day for parades. Earliest parades, most people traffic, most annoying people...

The parades that I like roll on Sunday and Monday.
 
A lot of Louisiana schools have extra days of school called "hurricane days" that we have in case a hurricane wipes out a week of class. When no hurricanes come, a lot of times they can cancel some days later in the year. This applies to elementary and high schools, not to colleges, though.
