Emo US curler.

Note the hair and the earrings. If you're watching the curling match right now, you'll notice he looks a lot more emo on TV than in this picture.
lol I don't know why but I like this picture

Also, my favorite blog: http://1000awesomethings.com. I bet you can't read it without cracking a smile. Unless you have no soul.
hahaha, if you have some free time, sign up for improv everywhere they have some funny missions
No call from osu, yet
No call for me tonight I guess. Thanks for the support guys 🙂
I'm going to go lay down for a while and do something else. I'll see ya tomorrow.
I really like the apple cinnamon ones. and the caramel ones. I can't eat them plain.
The plain ones aren't too bad with peanut butter, but then you're adding a heckuva lot more caloriesI had the apple one. Yeah, I def. need to flavor too. Otherwise it's just eating air.
is he wearing...two earrings?
I did, I did!!!oh yeah. i almost forgot.
something something make sure you get your exercise today, kids!

I think you were a bit late today, blobmeister. Seems like almost everybody already did theirs.
definitely keep the reminders coming!yeah, I'm thinking maybe I should starting making it a late night message for the morning crew
then again, if everyone's doing it, they don't need reminders!
It is.
You are definitely right, we started and finished our discussion of the urea cycle, its enzymes and mechanisms, as well as its purpose, in under an hour. Now I get to memorize it all. Joy. 🙄
Banned? No way, jose! I've been doing a lot of teaching/tutoring lately, really has tied up my time. Also have become quite the avid curling fan. Wooo! David Murdoch and Kevin Martin have become my favorite olympic athletes. lol
chargers cut LT
something i've been wondering, what do science majors do for their co-op?
i still get chills when i hear al michael's call of the ending
i feel ya. "the giants win the penant, the giants win the penant." apparently my grandfather still gets teary eyed if he hears this...
What is a co-op?
A 6 month full time internship. It's why my undergrad is 5 years and I only got one summer vacation.
JJ - you have to give out points!
It's like shuffleboard + bags + ice + chess... if that helps, lolOk, I'll give in and look up curling videos since you guys talk about it nonstop
I don't get how to, though.

no way, every school doesn't even have required interviews. Plus the applicant pool isn't as strong. With no hard set of pre-reqs, they are more likely to have a lot of schlubs that default to applying to law school. Not to say med. school doesn't have any of those, certainly a lot less, though.Sammie...I am proud of you for going to the gym!
So I have a question...although we are biased on this topic...
Do you think that the law school application process is comparable to medical school application process in terms of amount of work and emotional distress involved?
i wish my school had co-op, schools that have adapted the mandatory 1 semester co-ops have been killing in recruitment last 2 years (in comparison to other schools)
Whoa.
Sammie...I am proud of you for going to the gym!

Could someone post a picture of the pants the Azerbaijani team wore to the opening ceremony?
I can't find them anymore. 😕

I never did one but I like the idea of them. Schools (and I'm talking kindergarten through med school) almost across the board do a poor job of preparing people for the real world.

Gotchu, dawg.Thank you, Bender.
SameI'd like to take the LSAT for s&g but I don't have the money or time/effort.
I understand it is stressful but from everything I have seen-the process itself doesn't require you to jump through multiple hoops like the med school process does. The people I know who are applying basically knew to a certain extent where they will go with their LSAT score.yea definitely. if you invest your future that deeply in something, its equally as stressful and time consuming.
ask stein or anyone who has a fiance that applied to some other terminal degree

Law GPA is a lot lower, LSAT is almost it for admissions.
No pre-reqs, makes GPA not matter as much.
High attrition rate at most law schools.
I say they have it easier, except for the fact they could be 200k in debt and not have a guaranteed job when they graduate.![]()
I think med school has a LOT more emotional distress. Although I feel like med school itself is much more enjoyable and a lot less tedious than law school.
I am always glad to be of help 🙂Thank you, Taty! You're my inspiration 🙂
No. Law school doesn't have the laundrey list of requirements and de-facto requirements. The difficulty is different too, if you want to be a lawyer almost anyone can, it's just the top schools that are hard to get into. Of course, it's alot harder to land the big jobs out of small schools to...
Second hand I've been told (by my lawyer) that the average GPAs for even the top law schools don't stack up to med schools but I haven't bothered to look into this myself since I don't really care.
I have wondered if the LSAT is harder than the MCAT though since it's more problem solving based.
Brooklyn do you work in biotech? I allways hear that's a rough job market.
everyone's aiming for a top14 law school though. its tough, the numbers are something like 30-50% of firms have cut down on recruitment and interviews even at top law schools
I read an article a little while back that said law grads from even Harvard, NYU and Penn can't get big jobs like they used to be guaranteed. That sucks.
