Thanks Blue! And nope. I should hear from Vandy any day now. OSU will be either Monday (if accepted) or Tuesday (if deferred/rejected). And then MCG, from what I can gather, I probably won't hear from them until mid-March.

Hmmm... Maybe it was just Arthur. He was an ardvark... It came on around the same time as the Magic School Bus. Know what I'm talking about?

Haha, I wish I could read Chinese. Can't find anything in Vietnamese. Since I'm so bored, I think I'm going to find them and read them now. =] I totally feel like a little kid.

i think you can find some animated episodes online in english or subtitles, its pretty cool to see my favorite childhood
mangas animated. doraemon is so friggin incredible, ive always dreamed of having one! or at least his pouch haha

I'm stressed about finishing my thesis on time. I'm trying to juggle that plus work, school, other work, and private tutoring. Plus, not knowing where I'll be in 4 months (~20 weeks) is getting to me. Throw in feeling not good enough for people and you get where I am right now.

Plus, it's cold outside. The kind of cold where it's just cold enough to not be "nice" oustide, but not cold enough to bundle. I hate it.
 
ha relax, youre fine! but if you just dont have the time for that then i always find commiserating or gloating helps. since im doing jack shizz right now, i cant commiserate with you, but you can certainly take a gander to the chances forum and laugh at the neurotic 2015ers!
 
Aw. I missed the old school Nickelodeon discussion...

I loved Doug and Hey Arnold!

I had a CD when I was young with all nickelodeon songs on it :laugh:

One show that used to frustrate me was Legends of the Hidden Temple. The kids would go to the 'Shrine of the Silver Monkey' and need to assemble this 3 part monkey correctly... It was a bottom, a torso, and a head... and they would put them in the wrong order! IT'S NOT THAT HARD PEOPLE. ... sorry... old frustrations resurfacing.....

GO SILVER SNAKES!
 
i watched that show the other day, and man, those prizes were NOT as cool as you thought they were when you were 9
 
i just spent 4 hours trying to build a raman spectrometer for a lab class, and it didn't work. ughhh

at least our section got the prettiest IR spectrum last week.

practically NONE of those kids could assemble the monkey.

what were the other teams? purple parrots... there might have been jaguars?
 
who is watching ladies' hockey? there are 4 girls from harvard playing (3 for USA, 1 for canada) 😀

Red Jaguars, Blue Barracudas, Green Monkeys, Orange Iguanas, Purple Parrots and Silver Snakes. There were teams roaming around on Halloween this year.

Off to go eat dinner...
 
i love the duke thread, people waited til now to figure out their chances were mad low and are freaking out

my bad my bad, but i didn't mean it in that way. i just meant that the numbers of interviewed/accepted were always there and that people shouldn't let that throw them off just because its one or two weeks until decision time. at the same time, most people on that thread have at least 1 acceptance, so they have the possibility of mentally settling on a place already, so idk why not just rest on that assurance for now and not have any emotional investment in pending decisions? thats just how i look at it - i'd just rather not be neurotic at this point, its already march

ha i was just kidding. shes a big girl, figuratively speaking, im sure she can more than handle it herself let alone with the help from other 2014ers.

but yea, the high interview to acceptance ratio schools are pretty lame, though ppl should be prepared anyway
