I needed an honors seminar to graduate with honors course distinction. This seemed like the one that would be most interesting. They're all 3 hours.

This is technically "topics in analysis"
So it's not only science people. And it's mostly stuck up honors kids

And I can't stand the professor.
 
Anyone know if there is some sort of Blackberry (storm) 'Flash Card' app where I can load custom terms on to the program? I always have my phone and it would be nice to be able to flip through some terms when I am sitting somewhere not doing anything.
 
The Iowa thread is going nuts over when the final pool decisions are going to be released... it's fun to watch in a mean-spirited sort of way. :meanie:

All these other schools with their final decisions make me nuts! :scared:

It's weird thinking back to October when I had so many schools to hear from, and now that list is gone.

You know, as disappointing as it was to basically get told that I am getting an email from Duke-I am so much more content and at peace now. I can tell our puppy dog senses sadness though...he is cuddling me and even gave me a kiss....that never ever ever happens. He is a cutie pie! look!

Final decision week is way worse than initial decision week. 🙁

I'm not hearing from anywhere til next week and I'm still stressed out. I do know that wherever we all end up is where we are supposed to be though. 🙂

I have a dog - it needs to lose weight though. It just wants to sleep and eat all day!

Not like that, I just meant the speculation and logic-ing to try and figure out what Iowa means. Trying to see through Iowa's opaque application process is frustrating at best, I definitely sympathize with those in the thread. I'm laughing with them, not at them. 😛

I apologize for jumping to conclusions! This process has most certainly brought out the absolute worst in me. I know ksmi is right, we'll all end up where we should be. My mom says the same thing. But a part of me is still going crazy inside.

lol, philly has a southern ish feel to it. some times you can find chicken and waffles at random restaurants

Haha - i figured i'd join in sometime or another. The dog gets really mad when i want to him longer distances. Plus, he's a nervous/anxious eater. Whenever i go out he heads to his bowl and eats compulsively.

That's not my kind of southern. Ok maybe a little (but I don't think I've ever had chicken and waffles together), but I'm more about the Cajun foods. That's nowhere else. 🙁 I'll have to make mi madre send me authentic stuff. She was all blubbery on the phone yesterday thinking about me moving away. I was like, "you have a bajillion people here you know. I won't know anyone. You can't be sad." She didn't buy that argument.
