My spring break's over and I'm back at school. I met Sammich last week! but I think you already saw that.

I'm trying to tune the g string (guitar) but I can't hear the pitch for some reason. :annoyed:

Actually, I used howtotuneaguitar.org. I was afraid I'd snap the string if I turned too much, but I guess guitar strings are less sensitive than I thought. It's all good now.

The first time you pop a string is very surprising, but it's a lot less intense than you think it will be. It's pretty anticlimactic.

I've never restrung an acoustic before, actually. I just restrung my guitar and it took me forever. The strings are still stretching 2 days later.

I just got it today and I'm gonna (try to) teach myself!

So I thought picking up a new instrument would make me feel accomplished each day because I'll constantly want to learn more about it. That's true, but I also realized that I'm not going to get **** done for my actual classes now. Like it's been pretty bad this semester. Now it's going to get really bad.
 
when i was watching it, i thought it would be an edited video (esp when that folder came in) and i have to say, bannie came into my mind. i thought it could be other people too though
 
That seriously is an awesome viral vid. I think it appropriately puts bannie's contribution to SDN in perspective.

I have to remember to send my letter to Baylor. I'm sending it to the Dean of Admissions, but should I also send it to someone else - like the dean who makes the acceptance phone calls?
 
So, since we have 3 days of lectures on one thing and I don't go to class I finished 3 days worth of material today since I assumed it was all today's material (I was wondering why it was so damn long though haha).

LMAO I still get excited when I see one. Conditioning 4tw because the one in our neighborhood went so freaking fast you had to book it the second you heard the music or he'd be gone by the time you got there with your fist of quarters.

I just made a smoothie with only banana and fresh strawberries and pineapple. I cut up my first actual whole pineapple ever. And I did it with my favorite Ginsu butcher knife to boot. Sweet in so many ways. Now I wish I could email or fax it to you to make you all better with its Vitamin C and phytochemical goodness. I want to share its happiness with u. 😳

I guess I'm sorta new to this thread - I didn't know I "belonged" in here until I got my acceptance letter. Quite silly in retrospect. I'd been mainly lurking in Case's thread up until recently.
I realize I'm jumping in late on a long running history of conversations haha but reading from page 1 would be another full time job! Argh.
 
any of you guys know of any good workout music? The kind that pumps you up? Maybe hip-hop, rap, pop, rock, etc.
