I guess I'm sorta new to this thread - I didn't know I "belonged" in here until I got my acceptance letter. Quite silly in retrospect. I'd been mainly lurking in Case's thread up until recently.
I realize I'm jumping in late on a long running history of conversations haha but reading from page 1 would be another full time job! Argh.

I started out that way too. For hours. But my frustration kept rising when I over and over wanted to reply to so many things that were (by then) quite ancient. Then I looked at the post count, felt despair, and pushed "LAST."
It's hard enough to catch up after all night post fests! No idea how you guys get along with such little sleep. Caffeinaholics already? :scared: We've got a loooooooong way to go!

Actually, I used howtotuneaguitar.org. I was afraid I'd snap the string if I turned too much, but I guess guitar strings are less sensitive than I thought. It's all good now.

Ha, mine came with an electronic tuner. 😀 I think those are pretty cheap so you could just try one of those.
 
also DJ Khaled has a song called Go Hard which is good, and Jay-Z Run this town.
 
also eye of the tiger, and any of those rocky songs help me work out as well

My roommate's new dog just chewed up some of my other roommate's girlfriend's stuff. :laugh:

She's an entitled, spoiled, whiny bitch who thinks she lives here - always leaving her stuff around the living room and trying to take my parking spot. 👍

Oh, and did I mention that this girl isn't even attractive - usually it's the hot ones that think they can act like princesses and get away with it.

Okay, end of my rant - I just can't wait to leave my apartment and be done with her.

Yeah, I could see how that would get annoying quick. I'm assuming that you're rooming with different people if you do decide to stay at LSU?? 🙂luck::xf::luck::xf::luck::xf: for Baylor).

The good thing is that LSU-NO, the one I got into (there's 2 LSU med schools), is in New Orleans - the undergrad is in Baton Rouge. I'll be moving back closer to my home and to new roommates.

New Orleans is a great city (even though I've been there, done that), and I can't wait to get out of Baton Rouge.

Sweet, it would be nice to have a roommate who's interested in sports. Too bad OSU rejected me. It didn't bother me at first, but the more time passes, the more I kinda wish they took me.

i did a few of them with my roommate a while ago. i don't think i've ever been so dripping in sweat

I've done it. I personally enjoy P90X a lot more, but insanity is nice because it doesn't take as long. I lost more weight and gained more muscle doing P90X though.

My favorite workout video you may ask?? The brazilian butt-lift.

yeah. then again, this was also in the summer in california in our hot apartment so that might have contributed a bit

it's also pretty high impact, with a lot of jumping and stuff. i also only did a few so i probably don't know that much about all the different videos they have

I did the same thing. I have them but they're useless.
 
P90X is more realistic. Insanity is all about endurance. P90X deals with weight lifting, yoga, endurance, plyometrics (which insanity has as well), and P90X gets you toned. The diet is impossible, the first month is like oats and berries and thats it (exaggeration, but still).
 
i suppose the nice thing about insanity is that you don't need weights or pull up bars i don't think
