Interesting... We used to have a directory as well, but then, due to privacy issues, students can now opt out of being part of the directory.

I have not gotten an email yet. And I really want to believe that you are right...you have no idea.
But here is the thing:
My email system doesn't have a spam folder, instead, it quarantines suspicious mail and sends me an email with the list of them at the end of the day. So, if mine went to my spam folder I could be kaput. While we are on the subject, this set up only recently came to my full attention (like yesterday), I am so used to deleting that quarantine email that I didn't even check it on the original WL/Rejection day.
I want to cry I want this so bad but I have this stupid issue hanging over my head. Bahhhhhh!

for an aquantance of mine who goes to school with me, it did. But then again, I forgot to ask him if he used his school address or another one.
At first I didn't think it would go to spam because our system is pretty good at weeding out only the REALLY obvious ones and I've gotten all my Duke emails before. But now, I don't know anything apparently and all I can do is pray. lol
 
Oh and I am also stressed out cause it turns out I have to present a poster on my freaking failed experiments. Which I have to wait several more hours to attempt to redo because our pipettes are being calibrated.
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

so do ppl actually get into schools off the waitlist? i was looking at the waitlist thread last year for kicks and not many ppl seemed to put themselves down. then again, no one really put themselves down for acceptance threads this year so idk

They do, but different schools take different amounts off. This also varies from year to year and usually increases greatly after May 15th. A giant chunk of Case's class of 2013 (i.e. my class) came off of the waitlist.

Yeah people do - I read the whole thread a couple of days ago and it was really disappointing at first but things really picked up between May 15th and 20th.

well, i don't feel any worse or better now after working out so i guess it was a good idea to do it. i actually felt pretty good while i was elipticaling too-all my stuffiness went away temporarily🙂
 
do you guys rememberhow much fun fake money used to be? natalie is so entertained by these pretend dollars she got for being good at the dentist haha. she also loves carrying around real change and offers to give you some to help pay for things🙂

Awww so sweet. I remember being very entertained by fake money. My sister and I would cut the picture of credit cards out from their brochures/applications so that we could play with them.

I just discovered my chicken flatbreads the other day, mainly because I couldn't find the pita bread at the grocery.

It's just some chicken cut into strips, pita bread sprinkled with shredded cheese, and then I put some BWW sauce on it and some red pepper flakes. It's awesome, and I think it's my new way to not eat out as much and maybe save some money.
 
Just got a stethoscope for my birthday. 🙂 I've come to the conclusion that my stuffed animals are all dead as their hearts are not beating. There are no humans around to practice on, save myself. But no worries, my heart is beating like it should.

The Wonderlic may be the most important test NFL hopefuls ever take. Tim Tebow won't forget his exam at this year's scouting combine.
According to ProFootballTalk.com, Tebow requested that his group (players take the test in groups) pray for a moment before the 12-minute, 50-question test. The response wasn't so friendly.

"Shut the f--- up," said one player, according to the Web site, sparking laughter from others in the room.

Tebow is known for his religious views and expressing them publicly. He dons Bible passages on his eye black and starred in a Christian nonprofit group's advertisement during the Super Bowl. Some people believe the former Gator may have trouble in an NFL locker room because of his overt beliefs. The words exchanged before the exam validated this fear.

"So, right, maybe not everybody shares Tebow's passion when it comes to religion," writes Ryan Wilson of FanHouse.com. "Whether it's enough to alienate teammates or scare off organizations that might otherwise be interested remains to be seen. That said, it's not like Tebow's the first player to openly worship God." Maybe this will be the last of Tebow's challenges. In the future, he may consider the player's less-than-kind words at the Wonderlic and pray to the Big Guy on his own.

My mom was kind of upset that I got one because now she can't get me one for graduation.
