Well, I don't think I'm going to do the whole P90X routine. Just 2-3 times a week in addition to my regular workout. Will you be doing the whole thing?
 
kenpo was good -- i liked the plyo one. the one you do after plyo (shoulders and back? arms and back? something and back....) was kinda easy. the chest one on day 1 is a killer SO MANY PUSHUPS!!!!!!!!

speaking of exercise -- anyone want to register to run the marine corps marathon with me this halloween? registration opens in 45 minutes!

Ohh I see. If I buy the whole thing I will do it straight through.

There's going to be a lot of downtime on my vaca and I need to workout so I think it would be a good time to start.

Neato. I doubt I will be anywhere near DC during Halloween though... Too bad. It looks like fun. And I really really want to run at least a half marathon by the end of this year.

I do enjoy my PBL groups.🙂 While it certainly involves a certain amount of work to keep up with, I think we approach it very positively. It's kind of the cornerstone of our curriculum (but is greatly supplemented by lectures).

I will see if the Cleveland Apple store has the iPads in stock, as it's time I took a field trip.

Lecturers using red markers makes their important points invisible. Thus, Myuu turns to SDN.

as I've said before, I'm applying to just about every school (and then some :laugh:) but I definitely dont favor the PBL. Heck, I don't even favor lecture. I learn best by myself...either studying notes, or a book, or both. Plus I like to pretend that I'm an introverted recluse.


In my other (sad) news, my flame angel didn't survive the night. 60 bucks and it didn't even last 24hrs. *shrug* 🙁

hmm possibly! that sounds really fun-i wish i knew where i'm gonna be next year. if i'm close to dc i'll definitely consider it🙂 oh and ps, i sent in my rsvp for penn state's second look yesterday!


now having a picnic lunch- so much more fun than eating inside!🙂

you can't drop them to pick up someone from waivers. they are on the can't cut list bc they are typically one of the best players in the league
 
I should be doing office work; but just don't feel like it since it's my birthday tomorrow and I want to take days off starting today 🙂

Any tips on how to avoid doing work and not feel bad about it?
 
Dang, that's lame. The purpose of the can't cut list is so that someone with no chance doesn't drop someone really good so that somebody else gets ridiculous. You should be able to drop injured people, though, especially since it's so late in our season. Although there's really nobody good on the free agent list anyway.

Saw the highlights on SC.

The west playoffs are shaping up to be brutal. It wouldn't surprise me if the lakers didn't make it out.

East looks pretty predictable right now, unless the Hawks miraculously find a way to make it to the conf finals

yeah, whoever makes out of the west is going to be exhausted for the finals. i just hope the cavs don't win the whole thing. lebron is such a baby.

after running at the beach this weekend, being back in the mountains was a rude awakening. hills + about 5% less oxygen= tough.

not that I would ever consider doing something of this devious sort...but if you were to download bit torrent and search "p90x torrent" on google, you might be able to obtain a copy 😉:whistle:

Yeah, your pitching is very solid. No single guy getting injured will damn your rotation like it may for some others.

I actually did p90x last year. Seriously, for the first week or two of each phase you feel like you got hit by a bus that day. I did it in the mornings right before breakfast but I think it would be better to do at night before you wind down. It definitely works though if you eat healthy. You don't have to follow their complicated (to me at least) diet as long as you eat fairly healthy. My wife just made me sandwiches every day.

It definitely takes some prep though, like running a few miles a day for a month in advance.

Just in case you or anyone else was wondering.
