i will stand by the thought the giants have one of the best starting rotations in the nl, if not the majors. bullpen pretty solid as well. last year we lacked the bats. good to know that run production isn't a problem so far.

giants-phils series on the horizon?

I guess I don't know if it's applicable for you, but it was mostly annoying for me because I had to get a bunch of info from my parents to fill it out. And then it basically became an issue of me trying to figure out if it would be easier to constantly ask them for info or to try to teach them how to log in themselves and use it

I think the Giants rotation is the one I would least want to face come playoff time. The potential for having to face Lincecum + Cain 4 times (or possibly 5) in 7 games is :scared:

AH then it is the same. CSS asked for 3 years of parental tax info. SUCK! And ALOT of other questions.

mandi-btw, i called up gtown because i was curious and ms. sullivan said: they got behind w the snowstorms, then dr. lauerman was sick, then went on vacation. but by the end of this week they should be done reviewing all applicants that interviewed, then by the end of next week she said they'll review people on the cap who wrote a letter.

Yeah I was told I would hear back this Friday so we shall see. Knew you were on top of things! The Gtown app was cake walk compared to BU though.

i also have a friend who pretty much automatically says "forever ever?" anytime someone uses the word "forever" so that popped into my head immediately too
 
Needs Access is teh suck. At least my parents are good with filling out the FAFSA and about getting me their fin info if I do need it. The level of detail need's access wants from your parents kind of makes me uncomfortable though.

I think Whiteside is actually pretty terrible. He does have power, but he is definitely the number 8 hitter in the lineup.

His pitch selection has changed pretty significantly since he came into the league though. The velocity on his fastball has decreased. It now hovers around 93-94, where as before he was constantly throwing ~96ish. The deal with him is that it's a 2-seam FB, so it has movement to it and makes it harder to hit. I've said this before on here, but I actually think his best pitch is his changeup, which is actually a split-finger FB. Identical arm action to the 2-seam, which is why he gets so many Ks. He also has a really snappy curve now that he has good command over.

Detroit is a football city though man. The lions have went 2-30 in the last two years yet football talk owns the talk radio station and everyone is hyped about the off-season. I can't wait till they f**k up and take Okung when Suh has the fastest reaction and hardest hits ever recorded by Sports Science.

This is true. And wings games are by far the most fun to attend. You get the most for your money since their really isn't a bad seat in the house.
