brb oatmeal time!

Mmmm... That's what I had for breakfast. I 😍 oatmeal.

yeah, never.

i don't think people understand what i mean when i say that i don't eat processed food... i actually have healthy eating habits. not just choosing the least offensive option at mcdonalds; actually eating whole foods, all the time.

So impressive. Well, I started eating fast food at a very young age. I don't really eat it anymore at all unless Subway counts.

it was super fun for me to say that to my ex-bf during college. his name was josh. i joshed him a lot. or... i joshed him, alot.

a little oatmeal + a little whey protein is the perfect pre-workout meal. I've got my complex carb and my quick digesting protein and not very filling. 👍

yeah, i was one of those kids who didn't have refined sugar until elementary school, and then i only had it because my friends had all these crazy things in their lunchboxes that i wanted to try! fruit roll-ups, dunkaroos, etc. my mom never bought that stuff. and if you'll recall the carvel cake discussion... those were such a rare treat in my house that i can remember all the times i've had them:
1. brother won state science fair
2. i passed my senior-level figure skating tests
3. my high school graduation
4. my brother's middle school graduation (same month as #3-- jackpot!)
5. my brother's little league team won the championship
6. i got into umass med (magic hat beer + carvel = best combo ever)

this is crazy, Case's drop deadline is 5/1, and we STILL don't have our full finaid info yet

Wow, that's ridiculous, I'd give them a call about it. FWIW, Loyola has yet to get back to me on my proposal when they said "sometime next week." They've got 1.5 days remaining.

junk food is great. who wants to live forever?

unfortunately i'm not one of those people that can eat whatever i want, exercise a lot, and be a normal weight. i have to be REALLY careful. if i overeat for a few days in a row (on vacation or something) it becomes noticeable pretty quickly.

 you could probably use a few pounds anyway. but yea, when i'm actually at my healthy weight even a couple days of binging definitely makes an impact

also, BBender, there's a stealthy smiley face in the middle of that bird.

Biochem sucks.

And I binged last night on snacks while studying. I feel like crap now. 🙁 When will I learn that this is what happens? Not worth it!

I'm goin' running. For those of you keepin' honest, you go, too! lol Later!

INDIANAPOLIS -- The NCAA is on the verge of expanding the men's basketball tournament from 65 to 68 teams beginning next year and has a new, $10.8 billion TV deal that will allow it to show every game live.
The NCAA said Thursday that the Division I Men's Basketball Committee unanimously passed the proposal and it will now be reviewed by the Board of Directors on April 29.
The NCAA also said it reached a new, 14-year agreement with CBS Sports and Turner Broadcasting System Inc. that is worth more than $10.8 billion. The deal, which runs from 2011 through 2024, will show every game live across four national networks for the first time.

interesting...how will that work with 68 teams?

and yay for them showing all the games!!

oh poor sick kiddo. i recall disney movies and ginger ale when i was sick as a kid. to this day, i can't drink ginger ale if i'm not sick.

i prefer early morning runs. afternoons are funky because i have to plan my eating around my running.

Good morning.

I overslept my last proctor shift which very well get me fired from being an RA 2 weeks before the year is over.

And my tummy hurts.

So I need to be productive to make this day go better. lol.

am i the only one who's going to start med school never having seen a surgery?

wow are you kidding? I mean thats good i guess in a lot of ways but really odd😱. Though i agree fast food sucks. I stay away from it like the plague but sometimes its the only thing around. So i end up eating it only about once a month. Usually there is at least a sub shop around so if i have to get fast food at least its not some nasty tacos from taco bell or a grosss burger.
