They claim they never received it, but I have a UPS tracking document showing they signed for it in early March (sigh). No response from them since I sent the UPS paperwork...hopefully this means they are tearing apart the office trying to find it

Yea I might go just for kicks too - the problem is I've basically given up on buying a property. Just not worth it for 4 years (unless you can do > 40% downpayment - then it's very worth it). Only way it would work is if you get a townhouse which has low to zero condo fees. But then the water, electricity, heat, etc fees catch up - which sucks . But I guess you never know...

Btw I called these guys before - they are more than willing to help us w/ search etc... but the "perks" they mention are only for penn faculty/staff - not students unfortunately (so no super-low % mortgages for us!)

Bb i forget - are you headed for Penn too? If so did I bump into you @ PP? (sorry if I've asked you this already... I've got the memory of a goldfish)

i think i'm going to have to drop my mstp acceptances today, but i still kinda want to do some research and be debt free. I ask myself - do you want to do science or save lives. I want to fight aliens, so I have to really evaluate what would be the logical precursor to that line of work

i did nothing, which is the best way to spend a weekend nowadays

back in the day (lets say 2-3 years ago), i would look for any and all opportunities to go out hard. now, i do the opposite and really enjoy not doing ****. if i get drunk, i stay tired for like 2 weeks. getting old sucks

i just stayed home, cleaned, errands, watched some baseball, etc. the idea that i will have to start studying again on weekends in t-minus 4 months is a little intimidating.
