well the first step is typically to assume the opposite and find a SC.

I haven't really tried that problem yet, just gave an example. I need translation help more.

do you realize how hard it is to pass up a full ride to your number 2 school? 🙁
yah that must be tough. If i was applying again duke would easily be my number one school. The year of research and short pre clinical stuff built into 4 years is just sick. Plus the research opportunities there. But didnt harvard give you a good package? Full ride would be tough to pass up...but its harvard?

dingy if you're so logical why dont you jump in and PROVE yourself instead of bringing women down :eyebrow:

pasteurized milk isn't "processed" in a way that i'm uncomfortable with-- it's done in a way that protects our health while maintaining the nutritional value of the milk.

what i mean (and what everyone means; skim milk isn't considered "processed" food by normal people) when i say processed is food that has been altered so significantly from its natural state as to have detrimental effects on the nutritional quality of the food (think simple vs. complex carbs) as well as detrimental effects on our economy and environment (think government subsidies for the wrong types of crops and monoculture).

that's all i'll say; i'm not trying to politicize this thread.

ok

DOOOOOOOK! 👍

yeah the harvard package was good, but only because the economy was bad this year and my parents were under the middle income initiative threshold. as soon as they go over, there's no sliding scale and i could be paying up to $50k/year.

yeah, that's tough. but isn't your gut telling you HST? or am i wrong

i think a big part of wanting to stay in Boston has to do with my boyfriend. HST is a fantastic program and i loved revisit, but Duke can offer pretty much the same.

yeah, i hear that. i've been in that position before, and it sucks-- forces you to reckon with how serious the relationship is before you would have otherwise. or maybe you're in a different place with that than i was... i'll shut up.

I could only imagine. Of course, my top two schools are so close I wouldn't even care, but the whole relocation thing for you makes things more complicated.

wow 50k a year...well if it was me id go to duke as long as its free for all 4 years guaranteed. Regardless good luck. Im having a similar decision to make with my schools because of family/SO issues.

Cool.

According to wiki:
The Fulbright Program is one of the most prestigious awards programs worldwide, operating in over 155 countries and with 50 commissions. More Fulbright alumni have won Nobel Prizes than those of any other academic program (total of 40).
