this is why roy halladay is the best pitcher in baseball, he can go deep everygame for a full season. these young'ns can't match that
 
things that I will probably buy now that I'm going MSTP

1. Big Screen TV
2. Tempurpedic

i'll buy them after a year or so though, save some dough, buy a place for cheap, rent a room out, tax deduct that as a business expense

its not too soft, that idea is a myth. do i seem like the type of person to go after things that are soft?

omg,no. i make a very conscious effort to give the other person the bigger half. especially when it comes to food, i put it all in their face and make sure they see that i'm giving them 80%. i do it with a smile too. it makes me feel better about myself

just got back from my brother's baseball game-he got the winning hit and was so excited! sometimes it's fun to have a sibling who's so much younger🙂

:laugh: So it turns out that my sister plans on going to grad school, which brings my estimate for HST financials much, much closer to what it would cost to go to Duke (within $20-30k over four years). Also, HMS gave me all subsidized loans with sweet interest rates, while Duke gave me a hefty chunk of unsubsidized loans to cover everything besides tuition. There are lots of hidden costs associated with going to Duke...some fees, the need to own a car, etc. so in the end it wouldn't be dramatically cheaper 😀

Plus, I didn't really know who to drop. Probably should have parted with a SP but I feel like everyone on my team is either play well or is an all-star and will play well at some point.

Also, BB I am probably going to reject your trade. I'm not sure why you dropped Gardner (well, Jackson was on fire) but I am pretty happy with the runs and steals. I'm not terrible attached to Wigginton though, but the only thing I need ATM is RP.
 
yea i tried to pick up hoffman as soon as you dropped him, pedie has priority though

should have included that as a part of our trade

I got him in the big trade, it was the clincher for me.

I'm actually not sure how it's going so far, I haven't really checked. I do know that CC started a game and kicked ass the day before he was on my roster. 👎

BTW, I totally should have traded you Suzuki earlier since he's on the DL now. I just have to make do with Pierzynski for now.

Kicking myself for that one. Ksmi stole all the awesome relief lol luckily my team is hitting this week because Randy Wells single-handedly screwed my WHIP + ERA getting pulled after 2 IP. At least it happened to the Cubs :laugh:
 
im happy with the trade, even though FSAP is crushing him

if I could do the trade by giving up Howie Kendrick instead of Ian Stewart, I would have def tried
