and secondly, i LOVE that you used the phrase "holy smokes!" let's just say that those are not quite the words that came out of my mouth when i first got in-- you are a better woman than i :laugh: 👍

Thanks everyone!! I still haven't told my parents yet. I get to see them today at the reception at work, and I was planning on telling them then!! 🙂

In other news, it looks like my grade appeal isn't going to go anywhere. Eh, at least I tried. I knew there wasn't much I could do about it anyway. The way the policy is worded definitely favors the professor, so the grade committee will most likely side with him on the matter.

Oooo interesting... But Google has been using filters on their News site for a while... It looks like they just used that idea for their regular search.

anyone done a sandals/clubmed vacation thing? Wondering if that'll just be more of a vacation thing than shlepping around Greece for a week :laugh:

my parents did the sandals thing in st. lucia i think. they LOOOOOOVED it.
 
instead of celebrating the 100k post, we can celebrate the 2000th page, that way everyone gets in on the action.

we can let the 2014 ms. irrelevant(sports term for the last guy drafted, doesnt mean actually irrelevant) ms. stoney have the 100k post.
