Professional sports as we know it is COMPLETELY F**KED in Cleveland
I'm surprised none of my buddies put a hole in the wall after the BS postgame dap being given by the cavs.... like we didn't even care.
I swear they quit on Mike Brown and were defiant, but come on, the city deserves more than that. When is the last time you've seen the team with the best record in the league get knocked out of the playoffs and look so calm at the end of it all....
Seattle is pretty bad. the Mariners won somewhat recently but they lost the Sonics
am I the only one that expects an email reply as soon as I send an email out?
I need some words from the wise. How big is a $35K difference after interest and stuff? Worth it to go OOS?
I think you'd be safe going with 35K w/interest --> 40K for ballparking purposesI need some words from the wise. How big is a $35K difference after interest and stuff? Worth it to go OOS?

You're right, over four years, it's more like 35K + interest = 45K. If it's longer, it's more like 50-55Kno it's a lot more than that, i'd say almost double. i'll do some calculations.
Looks like I'm getting a new computer for graduation. 😀 and 👎 at the same time.
I was pricing laptops, and my God 😱 are Macs expensive. I was looking at them just for s&g, but I finally confirmed that you pay literally 2x as much for a Mac as you do for BETTER (and probably 2x) performance and specs on a PC. The laptop I'll probably get has the same specs at $720 as a Macbook does at $2000.
I've always been in AZ and really want to leave. I'd actually love to move to the Midwest or East Coast area later...so maybe going to Jeff would make it easier to stay in that region? Not sure.
The difference might be even more because I could do clinical rotations in Phoenix instead of Tucson (where the school's at) and leech off of my parents thereby saving maybe another 10 or 15k.

anyone got any suggestions for where to find a solid 42" 1080p on the cheap?

assuming the 35k is spread to 4 years(so 9000 per year), with 4 years of residency and 7.5% interest, it comes out to 57.8k upon completion of residency. whether it's worth it or not depends on you 🙂

Which calculator did you use for that? I don't know how accurate those loan calculators online are since they don't account for forbearance and deferment and all that crap.
And thanks guys for the help!
damn, looks like I need to be stopping by my Fry's more often!

Yeah, it's like 189k vs. 222k. With UofA, I won't have to borrow Grad Plus because I have a small savings I could dip into. No way can I cover Jeff.

Well my Fry's ran out of that model because I definitely found that one yesterday and they had one left (the display model) 🙁 This is after I was 5 hours late on a Tiger Direct deal for the LG 42LH50 for $650 😡Yeah, I would buy one now, but then I'll have to move it later. =/ Fatwallet.com is awesome!
Better? I can't decide if it should be WashU or Wash U so I just wrote out the whole thing.
I thought about doing the colors thing, but they are green and red. Too christmas-y.

Gah! It would be so much easier flipping a coin!
I was told by an adcom faculty member that under 50K (before interest) difference, go to whatever school you want. Above that, follow the $.
i think if you really want a change of scenery, it might be worth it. it also depends on the magnitude of your debt. keep in mind that if it'll take you say 5 years to pay off the UA debt, then that $35k difference will be paid off after 5 years after residency, which means that it'll become $83k at the time.

Usually the recommendation is if your parents/family can pay off the interest on your loans before they capitalize onto the principal, you save a hell of a lot of money.
