Why on this infomercial are people talking about all the money they made and nont of them are wearing expensive clothing? One is even waering a knock off polo ralph lauren shirt. Are peopel really yhis gullible?

They are that gullible. The fact that people are willing to throw money into an infomercial is enough proof.

FYI, I'm only a couple posts behind Depakote for most posts by a med student (discounting armybound, unless you really believe his post count 😉). If you also throw out J DUB and his inflated post count, I'm at number 11 overall for all users 😱

cool, thanks for the advice. my roomie actually grew up about 10 mins outside DC so she's been suggesting different neighbrohoods and i'm waiting to hear back from her as to whether she knows of any particular places that are good. if not, i'll make sure to start the search asap!

there are a bunch of condos right behind the hospital that seem to be rented out to students every year...not sure how you'd look those up. I think my guide said she lived in logan circle.

The shuttle from Rosslyn is also pretty clutch if you're interested in living in Arlington. It's also pretty handy if you want to go to the airport b/c you can go to DCA or Dulles from Rosslyn on public transportation. For some reason I thought you were in the DMV now, hence the fb invite :laugh:

Thanks for the info! I'll have to look into the condos-I think my roommate and I were hoping to stay in DC since it's closer to her work and to gtown. She mentioned dupont circle, adams morgan, and woodley park as possiblities-since she knows the area way better, I'm just gonna trust her judgement and hope she doesn't put us in the ghetto or anything lol. I googled it and those neighborhoods are all about 2 miles away which seems perfect to walk/bike to class.

That's good to know about the shuttle! I'll probably be flying home in oct for a wedding. I might hit you up for more DC info as we get closer to the start of school if that's ok🙂 Even just good places to study or eat, since my minimal knowledge from visiting a handful of times isn't going to take me very far!

haha thanks anyways for the invite! It's nice to feel included even if I won't be able to make the 6 hour drive to join😛
