well its been played over 2 days. today has been around 5-6 hours. i think they can handle it without taking meal breaks
Oh didn't know that. This is getting ridiculous. Over/under on another 2 hours?
Anyone know when it comes on tomorrow?
They haven't decided yet, but they've already scheduled the T. De Bakker vs. Isner/Mahut match for tomorrow on the same court haha. Too soon.
I am countering 6ave's counter of $658 for this with $580. I am probably pulling the trigger if they accept or go down at all (or maybe even if they don't 😀), especially since there is no tax and no shipping.
panasonic 42'' 1080p plasmas
JJ, go with this one
Your request for 1 LG Electronics 42LD450 42" 1080p LCD HDTV for $550.00 each has been counter offered with a new price of $595.00 each.
why a plasma?
what about LED LCDs
The guy at BestBuy told me that plasma screens do not work at my altitude. dunno where your going JJ, or I the guy knows what hes talkin about, but if its around me, be careful.
lmaoi just got a pm saying "hi, the link in your signature says msar data 2010-2011, but it links to a youtube video." that is all![]()
👍1/4 done with the steps 🙂
about 15Khow many people are in your town, Hoody?
Im north of denver. they are like 5300 (i think) and Im closer to 7300.Yeah they can buzz at altitude. I don't know where you are located, but a guy on the TV forum I've been looking at says he has a plasma in Denver, CO and has no problems. Probably the best thing to do would be to go to a store near you that has the plasma you are looking at and see if it works well.
dang. is he gunnin to be a doc or do you have pushy rents?wow, my brother is gonna be working at a lab this summer
and he just graduated from middle school

what a sports day! that tennis match is crazy!😱
trying to figure out how to register my car in DC...looks ike it's gonna be a pain ugh. i have to do it so i can park on the sreet though.
lol, how many people do you think clicked on that link
hmm I keep forgetting that plasmas are better than LCDs. Hey JJ I've never heard of this "Breaking them in" concept - what's that all about?
thats gonna be a bitch*2. you should try to find cheap underground parking (easier said than done). i think the snow shut down DC for a good 3 weeks this year
actually i would not take a car in DC, esp if you are living in the city
the metro is pretty good. third best in the US after nyc and philly i think

haha i just clicked on it, i always assumed it was real. i bet you've gotten hundreds of 2015ers trying to find that excel sheet😛
i think it's so nothing gets imprinted permenantely on the screen-especially things that stay there for a while like a station logo or sports score or something. my dad had this dvd that switched between solid colors that he played when we weren't watching tv for a couple weeks and that seemed to work to break it in.
i think i'm gonna get a plasma before school starts too. i figure the expense is worth it since i'll have it at least 4 years. i've been looking at this one:

They are more susceptible to burn-in during the first ~100 hours, I guess. Basically you're supposed to watch only full screen things where everything moves during that time period. I think the most important thing is don't watch any widescreen movies with the black lines during that time period.
Samsung are pretty good but most people on TV forums say that Panasonic is the clear winner when it comes to plasma. If that is your price range (~1000) I would suggest the S2 in 50" or the G25 series in 42" or 46". Don't get the U2 because it says its 1080p but actually only displays 900 lines on the screen; it also has a really reflective coating that the S2 gets rid of. The G series is supposed to have a little bit better picture than the S2, but it was hard to tell when I looked in the store. It does have internet though, so you can stream netflix, youtube, etc. That's not a huge deal to me as I'm going to get a blu-ray that does that (probably this one).
If you have a Frys near you, they have a killer deal on the 50" right now: http://www.frys-electronics-ads.com...TC-P50S2-50-Class-Viera-S2-Series-Plasma-HDTV. That is beyond my price range or I'd be all over it.
