I have to mail a release to LSU Health Center for them to mail my records to me. That's going to take a while.

I also need to find a PCP to get orders for lab work (my 2 titers) because the after hours clinic won't do it. They will do the physical and the TB test. This is getting stressful - I don't have much time to do this and then get it in.

I should be studying the thorax and mediastinum tonight so I don't fall behind but I'm getting a headache so I can't focus on anything.

Penn asked us (men) to tell them their jacket size, and for the women they asked their dress size. Don't know how that translates to big, med or small sizes though...

hmm I think I need to reduce my gamefly subscription from 2 at a time to 1 at a time soon. I've got a game disc since January that I've been playing off and on!!

When med school starts, I'll play even less 😡 blarg! I miss the good old days when I could finish games in a day or two. That either means I'm spending less time playing games now.. or the games are longer. Hmm. Glass half full or glass empty situation I guess :laugh:

I've always thought he'd stay in Cleveland. For a player of his caliber, his legacy is more important than money or even championships. He won't be viewed the same way if he jumped ship to band with other players, rather than recruiting other stars to join him and win in Cleveland.

cleveland isnt even on the radar

So what do you guys think about this Russian spies thing? Some interesting developments lately. Remember the 11th spy, Metsos, who was arrested in Cyprus and disappeared soon after he posted bail? Turns out a Russian ship passed very close to Cyprus around the time of his disappearance, and that ship was the MV Arctic Sea. For those who don't know, the MV Arctic Sea was involved in a mysterious scandal last year, when it was "hijacked" in SWEDISH waters and was later "rescued" off the coast of west Africa. None of the crew was allowed to talk to the media and Russia never explained why somebody would bother to hijack a vessel which supposedly only carried timber. A Russian piracy expert fled Russia soon afterwards and spoke up about the ship's role in arms smuggling, though many didn't believe him. Looks like perhaps he was right!

This **** is like straight out of a spy novel 😀

It ain't just about the money for him anymore, dude has aspirations of being the GOAT. Being viewed as a "quitter" won't help that image.
 
he also said he wants to be the richest guy in the world and said he's bffs w/ warren buffet who's been begging him to go to nyk. basically, lebron is mad confused.

he's gonna be fine either way though. i think if he does go after a title in cleveland, you just have to respect kobe even more for getting it done 5 times
 
he's also like 23/24 and has been in ohio forever. its basically like that one kid that grew up in ohio, went to miami of ohio for college and then ohio state for his md/phd program. the next chance for you to leave home is at the age of 31, can you really crack a residency in nyc then?
 
he's gonna disappoint like 20-40 million people and at least 3-4 big cities and maybe a garbage of a city. speaking of garbage, detroit is thinking about demolishing big parts of the city/urban metro area and just starting over to build farms (so it creates new jobs)

"It's a tough scene at the ballpark right now," one TV announcer said in the moments after the fall.
The Rangers' Nelson Cruz hit the ball into the first row of seats at the Club Level. A man tried to snag the ball before losing his balance.
An announcer said the fan tried to grab the railing of the suites below his deck, but couldn't — and then continued to fall to the field deck about 30 feet below.
Video of the incident was not broadcast, but gasps from the crowd, umpires and announcers could be heard as the accident happened.
Emergency personnel carried one person away on a gurney at about 8:35 p.m. That person was rushed to John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth for treatment.
The name and extent of injuries of the fan who fell was not immediately available. It was uncertain how many people, if any, were injured on the lower deck.
Umpires resumed the game after a 16-minute delay.

lol yea, that sucks, but he could go live in other cities during the offseason. i mean, it's not like he has a whole ton of free time to enjoy life during the season anyway.

My undergrad loans are spread among five different loan servicers. I finally got around to sitting on hold and talking to each of them about deferment.
 
Went to a comedy show tonight...it was great.

Majorly struggling with my Calc homework tonight.....not really sure how to rectify the issues I'm having. Going to go to office hours at 6:30am but I feel so lost all of the sudden. This is the first time (6 weeks into an 8 week class) where I just don't understand what is going on.

My dog thinks it is fun to chew her bone on my bed despite me telling her not to.

That's about it. How are your summers going?

Good for you for getting help! Feel free to get a little stern with the dog. I've found that a disapproving glare can go a long way with pets. Keep in mind she will still try to get away with things when she thinks you aren't paying attention (much like a human).
