Med school life is very very different, but very very wonderful 🙂

Although I have an OSCE this week, a practice practical the same day, and my Unit 2 exam Monday... sooooooo, ask me next week 😛

It's hard to ignore now. With the walls closing in while he was getting chased and his wife in the room across from him I don't think there is any other conclusion that makes sense.
 
I'm sorry that makes you not like the movie anymore. 😳

I think it makes it more interesting since you can probably watch it a second or third time and pick up more things.

same. I dont see it as a big deal whether you believe either argument for or against that article. Both are equally valid in my mind because there are points that could agree with both sides. In the end the only thing that bothers me is i hate movies that are so ambiguous with their endings. I want an ending, not something that is completely open to interpretation. But that article doesnt really change much. I mean...It could be a dream as that article states, but i could come up with several arguments that say it wasnt a dream and it makes sense that in the end he made it out of there and back to reality. I hate artsy type things though so im just going to go with what makes sense w/o getting too deep 🙂

the movie was AMAZING though i mean like one of the better movies ive ever seen.

For the third straight summer, no one knows what Brett Favre will decide. Will he return? Will he retire? He is dragging out the process, yet again. Now, even Favre's own agent, Bus Cook, is tired of the drama. According to Men's Journal, Cook angrily ranted to Favre about him contacting ESPN's Ed Werner to state that he needs ankle surgery to play in 2010.

"Now why did he do that," Cook said to Men's Journal. "...Goddammit, why does he have to be such a goddamned drama queen? Play, don't play, goddamn, people are getting sick of it. I'm getting sick of it!...You got problems with surgery, talk to your wife. Why talk to goddamned Ed Werder?"

Favre's decision process is progressing at the usual pace: very slowly. The QB threw to Mississippi high school football players at the start of the month -- which he has also done the last few seasons.

According to ESPN, Minnesota Vikings head coach Brad Childress visited Favre in Mississippi. The reason for his visit: "You can fill in the blanks," Childress said. At the ESPYs, Favre said that his decision rides on his ankle.

The Vikings training camp starts on July 30, but no decision is expected that early. Last year, Favre decided to join the Vikings in mid-August. He was traded to the New York Jets the year before in early August.
 
Tiger Woods popularity fell this year as he went from America's favorite athlete (national poll/survey) to being tied with Kobe, for America's favorite/most popular athlete

I went through a very thorough and rapid change in my belief system at the end of high school/freshman year of college. Going to a Christian college had the exact opposite effect on me than it did on most of my classmates.

Same. The world makes a whole lot more sense now than it ever did before. We human beings have a tendency to make things way more complicated than they have to be. :laugh:

Quoted for truth. I was raised mormon. and now, I sorta see church as this noun, ya know, this place, rather than worship. Its third party. I have a much more Buddhist view now. An appreciation/understanding for so much more.

Just sort of found religion for myself lately. Didn't really think it would happen nor did I expect it to, it just sort of did. Didn't know if anyone on here would be good to talk to about that :d

That's cool... always good to have something that works for you, something to go to when things get hard. It no longer helps me, but to each his/her own. 👍

This part is extremely true. I especially hate it when we make it overly complicated and say "hey this is right fo shizzle" because that always works :laugh:

:hello: I'm not sure I'm good to talk about religion as much as spirituality. I'm more along the lines of what chris Rock said in Dogma: "religion was an IDEA... not to go to far with it". I'm definitely not a fan of using religion or gods as an excuse to launch crusades.

Go humans - the only species capable of taking a noble idea and dragging it through blood and mud 👍

man the warriors are putting together a major piece of trash team. david lee, branden wright and jeremy lin? they are a great pick up basketball team but you put them in the nba w/ ellis and morrow and its just the worst defensive team ever. they are gonna be the darius miles clippers of 2010

Morrow is gone man. Brandan Wright is injured and not expected to play for a few months. Starting lineup should be Curry, Ellis, D. Wright, Lee, Biedrins. I'm actually pretty excited about that.
 
One of my best friends from high school died this morning. I'm just in shock right now. 22 is too young to die... 🙁
 
I just want to grab everyone I know, look them in the eye and say - if you're having a really rough time, talk to somebody about it. Seriously. 🙁
