I would hope you didn't walk INTO something long and hard....well, it might not be so bad..depending on your gender and/or sexual orientation haha 😉

I considered applying to Hofstra, but am now glad that I didn't since based on what you said, I do not want any more long and hard essays to do..they just take so much out of me every time I go at it.

Finally home from doctor and getting meds. My mommy is bringing my dog back and bringing me orange juice, because I am lame and couldn't get it myself. Gotta love mommies. I will never be too old for a mommy.

In a fit of panic and fever-induced delirium I added two more schools last night. Of course, they are schools that screen pre-secondary and now I'm scared I will get screened out because it is so late and because they will see when I verified and know I just now added them.

If anyone in this thread gets an interview at Vandy, you are at the minimum stopping by to meet me real quick. It's like 100 yards away from the medical school, so no excuses.

Haha! Yesterday was boring..with one email, being a duplicate from Rush....Today was a bit more interesting with "complete" email from Tulane and "pooled" email from RFU.

Very normal. I always think I can sing like Pat Benatar when I'm sick. You can find me belting out karaoke "Heartbreaker" alone in my room when I have a head cold.

We have collaborators at Vandy. Sadly, only the post-docs or fellows got to make the trip to learn a new technique.

on the food related note. you can literally eat 2-3 meals a day for free everyday at med school. Ive eaten so many insanely good buffets and free lunches and dinners at some baller places its awesome. I love conferences. I think tomorrow its pathology, they are offering free lunch so i am now interested in listening to someone talk for one hour haha. IN fact i just got back from a conference with amazing food 🙂

I remember when I got into my first accident. I was pissed/sad because I had just gotten my license a couple of months before (I was 16). Luckily, it wasn't that big of a deal; however, the person I hit ripped us off and made us pay like $2000 for some 'essential repairs'. 😡

I have a friend at Vandy. She loves it there, and she also loves the 1/2 tuition scholarship that she received as well. 👍

im praying for one every night before i go to bed...ive been complete for a while too (though rihno probably longer). i don't know what's going onnnn. maybe they want to wait for the perfect day to tell me or something
 
Yeah, at the research building I used to work in, they had free pizza every Wednesday at noon and an afternoon "tea" (aka snacks and drinks) every Thursday at 3 pm. That's just one building of the medical campus, too.
 
At the Student Run clinic I was at this week they also had pizza. But damn do all of those people deserve pizza...more than anyone else on the planet.


Speaking of pizza, I ordered Dominos again last week. This time without extra sauce. Huge mistake. The sauce is the good stuff.

Also, my mommy brought me orange juice and raisin bread😍


As for the sex....well....all is quiet above me, so I have nothing to say about that🙂

Reminds me of my mom for some reason. She used to do research in pharmacy and every Friday they would have have like a afternoon cocktail hour in which they would drink sherry and stuff. this is awhile ago tho.


I wish times didnt have to change to fast. I was at a parade the other day and due to modern day politics, they couldn't even through candy or treats out to the kids (or me). 🙁

My beef with whole foods is that they used to be a lot more organic and now they are more mainstream market. they do a very cleaver job of mixing organic product with natural products with conventionally grown product with local product, etc.

i also bought shampoo there labeled as organic when come to find out that its really only 70% organic. wtf. its either organic or its not. I can find 100% organic shampoo at target or safeway but whole foods is selling 70%?

whole foods = lame. I still shop there for the pizza tho.
