my Droid broke so I will be phoneless for at least a day. That means no email checking :scared: I don't know if I'll be able to function. Maybe this is intervention for me.

edit: yes it's always fun to talk to people after they've had large amounts of chocolate milk 🙂
 
Ok, so I reactivated my facebook momentarily so that I could add someone to the SDN group. And I would just like to say that if I were into girls, I would have a huge crush on Robo.
 
When I went to deactivate my account, it told me that loua and flow would miss me, awwwww.


What about the rest of you jackals? You wouldn't miss me? WHATEVER😉

Duckie, would you like me to yell at the Droid people for you? I am quite upset that it is so new and yet so broken. And I like having my way with customer service people. I actually don't yell. But I usually get what I want.

Hahaha when I went into the Verizon store with my friend she told me I should yell at them about it because I have had problems with the phone and memory card. The most I could do is "It's very frustrating". But it turns out the phone works in safe mode (thank you google for finding me some random forum) so I'll deal with it tomorrow. Thanks for having my back though 🙂

I'd imagine a baby pterodactyl would be quite the pain. At first it seems like a very cool cute cuddly pet. And maybe for those first few days, or waking hours. But then it's baby beak and jurassic era teeth would just wreck havoc to your house, furniture, and your own flesh while sleeping.

If it could be trained though, it may be useful in warding pesky neighbors or ruffians.
 
just applied for a random research job at my alma mater. not science research though, some kind of general education research... i dont know. it pays well and its basically just data entry/manipulation. i'd be pretty stoked if i got it.

That sounds pretty sweet. How did you find it? Just on their employment website?
 
and i'd be back at the beachhh and one of my best friends just moved down there. i'm not getting my hopes up though. jobs i've wanted lately have not wanted me haha.
 
but, one of my friends dads is a higher up at the school and used to be the provost or one of those big shot titles and i just talked to her so maybe he can work it out for me. mehhh. med school, let me in already.

i'm in one of those phases of deactivation . i wouldn't stress, it takes literally <10s to re/deactivate

It's handwritten so I'd have to type it up but I can find a similar one online somewhere in a bit. Hey will any of you invite me to the facebook group please?? BigBaller tried but then we are both unsearchable on facebook, so it was kinda impossible to friend each other haha.
 
I'm unsearchable except for by friends of friends. If I can just add someone in the group as my friend, then everyone should be able to find me and add me to the group. Pwetty pwease?
 
i want to go to bojangles (heaven sent fried chicken), but i can't find anyone to go with and i will feel guilty as hell if i indulge in such a gloriously fatty meal like that by myself.

So WashU sent me some snail-mail, hitting me up because of my MCAT. Makes me feel pretty 😎 but I also know I don't have a snowball's chance in hell there, nor do I want to move to Misery.
 
I am so pissed right now with a school that will not be named. I submitted like the DAY AFTER I got the secondary. They didn't mark me as complete, though I am. I waited 10 days then emailed them. They said they would fix the problem. Well, it isn't ****ing fixed. And they started giving out interview invites today, and I am not even marked as complete even though I was complete three weeks ago🙁
 
For people who filled out the University of Pittsburgh Secondary, did you put your course grades in letter form or GPA form on the course requirements section? (3.8 or A-)??

I can understand your frustration...I'm in the same boat at one school (or a similar boat at least, maybe mine hasn't received the "interview sail" yet--see what I did there? haha, okay not funny.)

It's out of your control, unless this whole "marked complete" business can be changed by you calling/emailing once more....You will be "complete" when they "say you are". Unfortunately, that's how the system works for some schools.

I'd suggest contacting them once more to see what you can do. Otherwise, they may just say "give us 4-6 weeks" again.
