Hungover, but only in the stomach. It's weird. I feel pretty ok otherwise, but I puked up my fruity pebbles 30 minutes ago and last night I puked as well. ugh. Now I have the "I vomitted a lot" red spots around my eyes (burst blood vessels) which sucks cuz I have a cute gal comin' over tonight.

I broke down (on my way to the gym :laugh:) and am making some muddie buddies. I should be studying cardio for my patho exam on monday.. :scared:

so my man told me that he heard on npr that diane von furstenburg was designing scrubs for Clev Clinic.

edit: apparently they are hospital gowns for the patients. hmm.
 
fugly. gowns are overrated anyway. i like my patients naked. i can assess their breathing better.


I am loving my kumar patho book for the cool pics. cardiology is kinda growin on me.


my fav college football team plays my alma tonight. i just hope we dont get crushed.
 
Just got back from interviewing at my top choice school. I had a blast! Crossing my fingers for oct 15th. All the hoops have been jumped through... It's kind of scary yet relieving that it's no longer in my hands. :scared:

My younger siblings start school on Monday. So being the awesome big sister that I am, I offer to drive them around and shop with them to buy their remaining school supplies and clothes. Didn't know that they had to go to 8 different stores though. Didn't know I would spend about 9 hours driving and shopping with them. Bottom line: I am soooooooo tired. 👎 But at least my siblings look fly. 🙄

I just got back from a birthday "dessert and wine" that was all couples.

The only singles? Me and a 72 year old woman.
Blah.
I see my future mocking me from 40 years ahead.

On the upside, the homemade chocolate pound cake was excellent. I will get you the recipe, Duckie🙂

Edit: I am now watching Broadcast News. Young Albert Brooks really does it for me.

Oh man. Just when I was finally feeling happy about the lack of basketball talk.....football season comes along.

Edit: Duckie, I will hopefully have the poundcake recipe on Wednesday. I'll post it in the thread when I get it🙂

My friend got super mad that he didn't play some dude named Arian Foster (sp?). Supposedly, he would have won if he had used him. My brother was practically kicking himself as well. :laugh:

I am too....in fact, you may have heard me say that I don't even really LIKE cake, I just like the frosting.

But no....there was nothing. It was STILL amazing. I brought coconut ice cream to go with it.

I think that you could put a glaze on it and it would be good. He cooked it in a bundt pan.


Dammit, I need real food. Eating Chex mix for 2 days is not cutting it.
 
I had a rough Friday night then a very mellow Saturday with the bf. It makes me mad when my alma mater's football team plays like they don't want to get their uniforms dirty. I expect greatness.
