Well, I covered the other three the night I got my first acceptance, so I'm definitely interested in the cupcakes. Considering going over to costco and ordering some or buying some mix so that I can have a few for my birthday this week.
 
IRL or on the internet, I can't stand people who are a douche, then act like everyone is f'ed up when they respond to their inappropriate behavior.

Surprisingly though, I'm not much of a drinker.




I am currently eating salmon and corn on the cob. Corn in the cob is the bomb. I feel so wasteful throwing my corn cobs away though. I feel like I should dry them out and make some kind of pilgram art project with them.

i volunteer at a place with a bunch of little boys (we're talking like 5 y/o) who try to wrestle me, and never seem to learn... playa reminds me of that situation. it's amusing

Not to be or sound like a homer... but if you just look at it in actual objective statistics:

Five of Eli's interceptions came off of dropped/tipped balls my his own receivers. If those balls are caught, he only has 3 INTs this season so far and people would sing a different tune. The other ones were admittedly forced balls. For all the things that people praise Favre about for being a gunslinger, Eli makes similar errors of forcing something for a win and fans and media get down on him and its all about him not being an elite talent. If you watch Colts games over the years, his brother Peyton makes the same boneheaded mistakes of forcing balls now and then, overconfident in his own ability rather than taking the sack or throwing it away (look at the game against SD two or three years ago.. or almost anytime the Colts play the Jags).

There's no reason not to be confident - he is in the top 5 this year in nearly every QB category. Last year when the Elias Sports Bureau did an analysis, they demonstrated he has the best performance of any quarterback in comeback attempts or final game drives. Though some other QBs had more overall comeback wins (blame this on defensive collapses after making the go ahead score... and this study accounted for team's defenses who lost the lead after the QB make the go ahead driving score) by two or three, they showed he had a higher success rate and comebacks of greater degree of difficulty than any QB since 2004.

Great movie, I watched it for the second time while I was at "work" yesterday. We only had two patients and I was there from 5 am to 1:30 pm.

Ugh... call the failboat. Piping with canned frosting does NOT work. It doesn't retain its shape at all, just slowly melts and oozes off the cupcakes because it's more than you would use if you were just spreading it on with a knife (and yes, the cupcakes were cooled). The cupcakes are yummy, though, and at least I got to practice using the piping bag. I guess I'm making homemade buttercream for Chicklet's party.

You could try mixing in some powdered sugar to thicken it up? Or use the recipe from Magnolia Bakery which is my go-to http://www.recipelink.com/cookbooks/2005/0743246616_4.html

I definitely was adorable! I was so adorable in my two favorite interviews that I might have ove-rdone-it, and said "I'm awesome" [and hence why they should accept me] Apparently I'm suppose to act humble in interview... i'm a humble person... but I do think I'm adorably awesome at the same time. haha

Here's hoping to hear from a few more schools tomorrow... though I will be at another interview. I just took my first Amtrak train ride today to get here. 🙂
 
arghhh....The dean of Vandy decided to start calling acceptances tonight. From my calculations, he's been calling for at least 2 hours now. Ahhhh...Anxiety emanating from my cell phone on a Sunday Night.
