i dont think you ever have to actually officially withdraw, until may 15th or whatever it is

At a lot of schools, a car is a necessity when you start doing clinical rotations. Unless all of your rotations are in the hospital adjacent to the school you're at, you will need it.

Not only that, but more than EVER, when you have free time, distancing yourself physically and mentally from school and work is important. You can't do that as easily if you're trapped by public transportation. A spontaneous day trip after an exam can save your sanity🙂

Though my mom is thinking of getting a new car so I can take her old car... but at the same time, she keeps saying if I go to City X there will be more to do and it will be easier to just take public transportation.

I think there was a thread on that awhile back......

Though I think the general consensus was to shave for the interview anyway🙂
 
Again, I didn't send back the secondary, so I'd be really surprised if someone got passed over because of me.

I just dug through my email and I can't find any way to withdraw short of, I'm guessing here, calling or emailing the office of admissions.
 
if you didnt send the secondary then you were never complete so there is no need to withdraw.
 
I may have actually written my update letter.....so shocking🙂 I'm going to force my mommy to read it 😛

I'd just email them. It's not that hard. And they may email you to remind you that the secondary is due whenever and that could get annoying.

Definitely don't want to go back to the real world. I'm gonna live at school until Christmas. because I have 5 tests in 2 weeks that I haven't started studying for.

Plus it's way cold there. And I don't like that.
 
I withdrew from a few interviews, but I'm not withdrawing any apps. If you haven't submitted the secondary yet, the deadlines will pass soon enough anyway.

Anecdote: I was extra stubbly for a couple of my interviews. I figure it makes me look more mature and professional (forgot to bring my shaver) 🙄:laugh:

flow - i have a lot of matlab due on monday, and oh how i despise matlab

I can't grow good facial hair either... it looks ok stubbly tho.

Yeah I don't like matlab either. It's too much like coding for me. I like mathCAD because it's super presentable. I mostly work with mathcad, chemcad, and excel these days.

2.5 weeks of school left and I don't know anything. This is gonna be rough.

This is a really weird question, but have the words advise and advice swapped places? I see it used "Please advice me on..." so often on these forums I'm starting to believe it's correct.

It's like when I helped my 3rd grade teacher buddy grade grammar tests. I was 98% convinced after an hour of grading that the past tense of feel was feeled.

I need to suck it up because I only work tomorrow, then I am out the rest of the week for an interview🙂 I'm so lazy😉 Now that I've gotten three nights of sleep I don't want to do anything but...well...sleep. I forgot how glorious it is.

Lol. Actually, if I still had long hair, I could understand the resemblance to the two avatars I've used: Ebi Smolarek or Jakub Błaszczykowski.
