I don't have work, but I am going to try to enjoy my last day in the warmest part of the US/Canada because I'm going to be freezing my butt off for the next 10 days. 🙁

On a side note, my flight tomorrow has a connecting flight and is operated by a different carrier (Air Canada for the 2nd leg)..and I really hope United Airlines is going to check my bags to Montreal and not leave them in Las Vegas. My receipt shows that I've only checked it thru Las Vegas..but everyone on the phone says it'll go to Montreal. (I know it's supposed to go to Montreal, but you guys know how bad airlines can be)

I went in to work🙂 I had about 100 pages I have to log and scan, in annoying 3-6 page increments, so I decided that if I get this done today it is a total bonus and I won't have to think about it again🙂

Plus....scanning is mindless and I can SDN while I do it 😀

I may go to Souplantation and get some of their Resolution Chili. It is called that because somehow the chili has something to do with my New Year's Resolution, but it is unclear to me what the connection is.

LOL! This is how it was with Chicklet, too. I was RAVENOUS for the first month or so. Then the food aversions started and M/S kicked in at 8 weeks. Then... :barf:

Me too. 🙁 My only consolation is that this way I really don't have to make a decision as to which school to attend based on cost.

I don't know what's on Netflix instant que, but I'm about to start up Machete on Vudu. Watched Cyrus last night... was rather meh. Maybe would have enjoyed it more if I were awake, but rewatched the final 30min today and it was alright. Nothing too funny, but cute ending I guess.
 
Kick Ass actually really surprised me when I first saw it. I barely knew the basic premise of the movie so when I watched it, I was VERY entertained. I really liked it, it's not on instant though 👎. How about a television show Cougs? They've added a whole bunch of series, and I actually started watching Psych from season 1!
 
If you're looking for something to watch on Netflix instant and have questionable taste in movies, I'd highly recommend Cannibal: The Musical. Watch slightly tipsy with a group of friends. Preferably a group of friends with similarly lowbrow senses of humor.

Cannibal is by Trey Parker and Matt Stone... I've watched it several times. Every so often they bust out into South Park voices and it's kind of distracting, but it's a worthwhile goofy movie.

Yeah, apparently they made it during spring break while at film school. That would explain why everyone in the movie appears to be under the age of 30. I actually didn't know who made it until after I watched the movie. I'm glad I didn't realize...it made the humor much more unexpected.

Yeah I'm watching Coupling again, but I'm on the 4th season and its the sucky season so I need something else. I feel like I've watched everything under the sun already🙁

That's soooo disappointing! Kick-Ass is definitely one of my favorite movies! I was thinking of watching it tonight before going to bed. Zombieland it is then!

I know exactly how you feel! Most of the stuff on my instant queue is either super serious, depressing, or a documentary. Except SNL commercial parodies and Louis CK stand-up. I need more in my queue.

I had given up hope on hearing anything new this year....

looks like I have at least one more interview to go on before this is all done 🙂

So Rad/Onc is awesome. The guy I shadowed yesterday revealed he gets 13 weeks of vacation, works 4 days/week (~10hr/day), call 1wk of every 7, and makes more $$$ than salaried Kaiser R/O's. Plus the work is hella chill. Playing with the computers, seeing patients, etc. My kind of job for sure.
 
Awesome! Glad you liked it, flow. Those are definitely some perks! I really want to like rad/onc but it's just not my speed.
 
I'm watching a movie that has pretty much all black characters....and I'm remembering that there are like the same 30 black actors that you see in black movies over and over again.

Also, I feel much better. And less cranky.


And....I kicked cliff's butt at Reversi. Anyone else wanna have a go?

That is pretty sweet. It makes me wonder what other "scary-looking" machines or devices we can revamp with awesome kid-friendly designs... if someone can invent a really fun vacuum cleaner, I'm sold 🙂

Just called two schools about whether my update letter reached them. Thumbs up to the Pie In The Sky school and how they talked to me after "losing" my letter. Thumbs down to Wonkaland and how they talked to me after they did the same.
