You're right and it makes me sad. I wanted to be that person who's always helpful regardless of the stage I'm at.

You were actually gone a lot longer than you thought you were. 😉 j/k. In the vein of being helpful, most of those posts probably boil down to "From page XX of the AMCAS instruction manual..."

I'll be an M1 in the fall as well and I've found a lovely little 2 bed 1 bath condo a 5 minute's walk from UTMB. I'm looking for a female non-smoking, no pets (I have allergies), friendly, tidy female roommate to share the condo with. I'll bring furniture so we won't have to purchase as much. The condo is $450pp and includes electricity, water, cable, and garbage. We just have to get internet. Message me ASAP if you're interested.
The lease starts June 1.

Since I found that site, I've never been top author. One week I was second to Pons. ETA: that site also shows that this thread consistently has more posts per week than any other thread.

Aw, Cougs. I missed you too! I actually was reminded of you daily during my walks into the city. There was this bar/nightclub that had "Cougar" in the title and made me think of you 😍. It looked pretty shady on the outside so I never went in but I was tempted.

I'm not joking when I say I cannot bear to read through the list of threads on this forum right now. I frantically search for the 2015 thread because everything else just makes me cringe right now. What is that? What stage am I at in Cougar's "pre-med timeline"?

Hah, well, only a small part of it is wisdom. It's more like reading comprehension and search-fu with some common sense sprinkled in. But glad to be of service.

When I found it and saw that I was in second, I definitely throttled back. There may have been weeks before where I had the pole position but I didn't see it. Also, that's only looking at pre-allo. If it included my posts in the lounge there were times when I would have been champion by a long shot.

She's right. No one in LA knows how to drive when it rains, it's pretty ridiculous. You have essentially 2 groups: the people who because its raining are driving 40 mph on the freeway and becoming more dangerous than the speeders, and you have the crowd that is still going to drive 85 and tail you. Pretty special. Oh, and it only takes 45 mins of bad weather for us Californians to complain about it. Oh, this state :laugh:

That is awesome. Enjoy that because I think they won't cancel classes for anything less than 18" of snow where you're going. 🙂

Also there is one facebook notification that won't go away no matter how many times I click on it. Kinda annoying but I don't really care because I'm having a very good day.

these are definitely the aspects of SoCal weather I'm going to miss the most.....

I always thought the rain thing was super strange when I lived in SD back in the day. I used to joke that they were all trying to dodge raindrops and puddles. It seemed funnier when I was 10.

Now that I'm out of school, I have time to netflix and other stuff, and I tried Archer today. Pretty funny--Cougs is def. that one girl and sometimes... I feel like Archer lol.
