Similar weather in NYC..although I think it's worse in the midwest. We're humid over here too though. NYC had to open up its "cooling centre" and send me a emial/text emergency notification haha.

Edit: ordered a package from Newegg.com a few days ago and was told today it was "delivered at 2:10PM"....except it wasn't in my mailbox. I sent them a "lost" claim..hopefully it shows up at some point, or they're willing to believe me!

Haha...touche..except since I also use metric, THIRTY EIGHT IS TOO ****ING HOT. 30 is already unbearable man! I'd much prefer a -30 over a 30, any day. I can bundle up when it's -30...can't strip down to nothing in my apartment!...NO ONE MAKE ANY JOKES.

Thanks. 🙂 I was born in Montreal so I was automatically given QC residency, but I haven't lived there for about 18 years although I've been back a couple of times. I prefer the more temperature climate of Vancouver, though.

You probably have a longer winter break or something...we start 15 Aug (orientation)/22 Aug (classes start)-8 June (last day of exams).

Our winter break is from 22 Dec to 03 Jan. 🙁

Edit: i have a sudden urge to get involved in various "student councils" at my school..we have a lot of committees in which students can be involved...kinda interesting! From budget to student health to curriculum to just basic "student council"...kinda wanna get out of my shell lol. I'm used to getting up in front of large groups of parents/students and just yapping away...or playing politics on a board..I just might be corrupt. hahaha JK.

Nah. Our winter break is the 23rd-2nd. We're known to have one of, if not the longest first year. We have a decently long summer between MS-1 & 2 though.
