Sorry I wrote that really late at night. I didn't mean to draw attention to my score exactly, I meant to say that I scored higher than my AAMC average, my friend who felt the exact same way scored higher than his AAMC average, and you hear a lot of other people say the same thing. The consolation is that you probably didn't do as relatively bad as you may feel. In fact, you probably did better than your practice-average! It's definitely nerve-wracking not knowing, but after a week or two you kinda forget about it and then the day comes and you either die or sprout wings, just like the original formula for red bull.

No, I'm good, really. Gen chem is probably my strongest subject. I'm just sick of it and it's starting to annoy me, but I'm chugging through it because I'm behind where I want to be, you know?

I do... especially when I was in gen chem, I didn't understand the thermo sections at all. I think it's because they never really gave an understandable attempt at explaining things in genchem.

From her tubes? Oh yeah! She was fine by the next day. She's been doing great!

The procedure was so fast, even faster than I expected (I read about 15 to 20 minutes). The doc came out in less than 10 minutes and I was about to ask if they couldn't do the procedure. A lot of the time, they don't like coming out of anesthesia, though, and she was very irritable for about two hours afterwards, randomly screaming and crying. 🙁

But we went home, she had some milk, I made her some breakfast and then she passed out. She woke up after her nap and immediately started walking, which she hadn't been doing before that because she'd had fluid in her ears for about 3 months and it was screwing up her balance. She's been walking like a champ since, and her language is blowing up, too, since she can finally hear properly again.

ENTs rock. 👍

i love the rain, when it's not thundering, that is, like tonight. you can walk outside, and you feel untouchable. I was leaving the store, had no umbrella or coat, was heading back to the car, and i literally felt like i was in a movie or something. The water dripping all over my face, I felt so hardcore.

Or maybe that's just the kid in me lol..

if i've got a hat and or a rain jacket walking in the rain isnt so bad. I HATE wind though. Unless, its 99 degrees on a hot summer day.

yeah, try doing that in heels, freshly done hair, makeup, etc. it's not like the movies, then, it's more like a commercial about how bad your day is and how much you need a coffee/drink.

Dude me too! I was on a date the other day and it started raining as we were walking in somewhere and the gal ran into the place and I just walked, cool, calm, collected, through the rain. Because I am a badass, unaffected by mere water and mortals!

meh i'd rather them ask me who i want to go out with for drinks. then i'd list the people like Jesus and Hitler. i'm not trying to eat dinner with them though, especially all at the same table. i need peace when i eat, not some deep philosophical question and answer game. that comes with drinks.
