Oh ****, I am going to do this tomorrow when I'm in San Diego for my family's party! (or at leat call them)...I should ask my family if they know of any programs that pay even more! hahaha.

Aww man, sorry that is your experience you've had....I fill it up pretty nicely, but I think the lady usually pulls it out before it becomes painful. I donate about 3 times per year..in order to save 9 lives! hahah. In my research facility whenever we induct new students, some of the new kids know me as "the blood donation guy from such and such class" since I stand in front of class and talk about it all the time...in order to encourage donations.
 
im O- and they are on my case about donating.

positive side of donating - you get drunK WAAAY faster after you donated hahaha
 
In the spirit of posting and keeping the night going, my friend is talking to me about how all of the guys she's dated have ended up turning gay...Ironically enough, a grad student friend of mine told me that her ex was "giving him the eye" the other day in the halll...*awkward*.

Haha so she likes gay guys. Nothing wrong with that. They're usually cute, not creepy, and dress well. I wish CA would just legalize gay marriage already so I can attend some awesomely stylish ceremonies.

Haha, no the issue is she is attracted to them! She wants to find someone that she doesn't end up turning...and it doesn't help that I also dated her haha, but we're the best of friends now! In fact, she's sitting right next to me as I post this, but anyway..I digress!

I think I'm like the exception to your rule haha...I don't dress THAT well...but at least I'm not a creep..I think. *shifty eyes*

hah doesn't mean straight guys can't dress or be cute. the creepy part i would probably agree with though

Hmm... well you could either help her look for signs that a guy might be gay/in the closet, or she could get a sex change and get all the gay guys she could handle. :laugh:

It is the same place; it is called Hardee's on the east coast, and Carl's Jr on the West coast. I remember being tripped out by that when I lived there.

Also....Dreyer's Ice Cream is called Edy's.
Best Food's Mayonnaise is called Hellman's🙂

Oh crap I thought you left so I just started reading the bizarre interview thread! Colbert is awesome, my sig is a quote from the White House Correspondents Dinner he gave. He tore the administration a new and Bush had to just sit there and take it! Colbert has brass balls for sure.

per the us' (i abbr usual/ly to "usge" but thats not how it really sounds, you know? how do i abbr better for my compy friends?) i cannot read all that i missed. but hey, sun, i tots accepted you on the fb. hola! sorry my prof is really lame right now, 1) when i reactivated they deleted all my info that i had somehow saved after the switch from likes and interests to "likes" and 2) i deactivated my wall, which my friends are hating on right now.

anyway so i just had a tropical starburst. anyone try them? not too much a fan, but really grossed out bc they have this disgusting after taste like parrot bay rum ewwwww

but i am also drinking coffee so that might be a contributing problem.
 
I woke up early this morning to do a favor for my gf (I know, I know, aww right? haha). So on my way home I decided to stop and get breakfast at this new place I saw open called the "Corner Cafe." It had a bunch of people outside so I figured it would be good, but I didn't notice they were all vietnamese until I was walking in.

So I get inside, hearing a little laughter as I procede. I look at the menu and EVERYTHING is in Vietnamese :laugh:. I'm sure most people would have just walked out, but I figure I'll give it a try. I saw the guy behind the counter was making iced coffee, so I ordered one too.

It turns out that iced Vietnamese coffee is delicious and ridiculously strong! I consume massive amounts of caffeine in the form of rockstars daily, and even I think this stuff is liquid crack.

I think I may have found my new coffee stop in the morning. I better learn some Vietnamese though 😀

And to further support the Thai comparison, they also had some pictures of sandwiches that look like the ones I get from a Thai place.

I slept for 11 hours last night, which is impressive because I didn't do anything tiring yesterday. My bf just sent me a picture of his massive Texan bbq lunch which appears to be more than I can eat over the course of a day. Maybe two days.

uh 1) strawberry starburst are the only ones of the original i skip, i eat lemon, then orange, then red,

2) blue raz jolly ranchers are the only ones i eat

3) the mango tropical starburst are okay, the purple are tolerable, and the pina collada suck
 
I'm a little worried about trying to keep my suit from getting smashed by people in the plane who just shove their stuff in the overhead and what not. (one of my flights is a smaller plane that may not have a front-end hanging section)

Actually, all of the vietnamese Iced Coffee I have is ONLY vietnamese (french roast) coffee and condensed millk--that's what has all the sugar. There is no cream...like heavy cream and stuff.

@Daisy and Metalgear - I had some kind of crazy allergic reaction....still don't know to what. I was in a bathroom in Barnes and Noble when it happened. I went into the bathroom fine and came out with my face exploding in hives and my throat closing up. I went across the street to a grocery store and got liquid Benadryl in me pretty fast and was driving to the ER but it subsided quickly. I haven't had an EpiPen for about 2 years but I guess I should go get one.



Baller.....I'm so sorry🙁 Where was it? Can I beat them up?
 
hah you're not too far away from them. maybe you can before i do, because if it's left up to me, i would do much more damage
