So after bitching about one of my volunteer jobs, of COURSE today turned out to be an awesome day. There was a new med student in the ED. He was super cute...and had horrible social skills.


Question for you all: do any of you know any couples that share an email address? WHY do they do that???? It seems so weird!!! They need to stop immediately.


Silent inbox today. Bah. Can these idiots just reject me already? Especially my legacy school.


Edit: I also love that for baller, sex is sexual😉

Yes, it's ridiculous. Except I know a family that has one for the whole family, which kind of makes sense (to corral the overeager grandparents, etc).

That's annoying. Or the ones that talk back and forth on each other's walls all the time like "I love you, we make such a good team, babe" every day. Pick up a phone.

I have a gal friend who talks with her ROOMMATE via facebook all the time... often while they are in the house together. It's often funny, but IMO still a way to say "hey look at our hilarious in-joke conversations!" to all of FB>

when it gets too hot in the summer my workout schedule suffers tremendously because i just want to stay inside all the time. the heat shuts me down. i need temperate or cold climates to run well on all cylinders.
 
Cougs, in your case it's too bad bodies of water are rarely described as "bootylicious" or "brings all the boys to the yard" 😛

I can't run in the cold. Makes my lungs all gunky eww. But I guess *hometown* cold is a bit diff than Cali cold.

The animal represents how other people see you. The color allowed you to describe the way you see yourself in a new light, such that you didn't realize it was just a self description 🙂.

Last... the water. It's a little inappropriate, but it represents how you view sex.

Interview tomorrow!!!! AAAAAAAAAACK! I am so nervous. I feel like I haven't done enough to prepare even though I probably have. Their interview days are supposedly very chill and I hope the fact that I'm so very interested in Jeff (pretty much top choice barring some huge financial aide difference) is going to show through and play in my favor.

Good luck, GeekMama! I'm sure they will see how interested you are in the school, don't be nervous. =) I've heard their interview days are very relaxed too, and that they have decent financial aid.

I am in the same boat for my interview tomorrow on the other side of the city... trying to remain calm and pretty much failing at that! I'd much rather be interview prepping but I'm at work today for 10 hours. At least they're letting me do flex time instead of making me take vacation days!

I wouldn't place my bets on just 5 interviews if you had the opportunity for more. Like someone else posted, you should attend interviews until you had one acceptance in hand. After that, then you get to be picky. Getting into med school > than whatever you have going on right now (IMO). Just my $0.02.

Ok, so, I do this thing every so often where I do 30 days of something. Last time it was "30 days without using any disposable beverage containers". It usually has unforeseen side effects in your life that are good. With that one I had to do dishes more often to keep all of my Nalgene bottles clean and I had a spotless kitchen for a month..it was awesome.

This time I am doing 10 minutes of pilates a day no matter what. Today was day 1. It was good...and I SWEAR that doing it before going skating made my skating better today. Even my instructor was like, "Cougs, your edges are so good today! What is going on?"

Also...Um....if anyone meets me, do NOT feed me Halloween candy.
Seriously. It will create a monster. And I will not wake up from the sugar coma until the last Cadbury creme egg is gone after Easter.
