haha that is an over-the-top birthday if it includes costumes and strippers.

SDN is toying with me, they take away the tags, let us embed direct from the link, then return the tags and nothing works. So lame.

Lol they might both happen. I've been told I have to do at least one of those for my birthday. (I do live in XXXXX after all)

United is an awesome airline! (I'm definitely biased because I'm one of their frequent flyers lol...) But anyway, on our premium service flight from JFK-LAX, I saw coat hangers in business class, they were against the class divider b/w Business and Economy Plus. During my interview packing, i've always stuffed my suit into my bag (on the top most layer of the carry-on) and I've yet to have a problem.

To Daisy and Sun, I'm not cheating on y'all with school-specific threads, I've just been going on too many transcontinenntal journeys to keep up with the thread, going to school, and going to the gym with my "pseudo-beau" in "free time"! Just got back actually...so tired, so good night y'all!

I think what happened is, i was kind avoiding SDN toward like May/June to focus on my apps and finals and things, and then I just stopped checking this thread in general, and pretty much only creeped the school-specifics. But yeah, i'm back, i definitely didn't want to turn into another MDMan87

but yeah, I've had 4 interviews so far, and I'll PM you guys. So far, I got into 1 of them, still waiting back on 2 of the others.

don't worry, nothing traumatic happened to me, haha. Did someone think I was dead or something?

Found out from an inside source yesterday that Harvard has a prejudice against older students. Lame.
 
I asked Cliff this earlier... but am I jinxing myself by looking at the menu for the restaurant we're going to if I get accepted tomorrow?

I like of that school released acceptances on the 14th to steal the thunder from the schools that release on the 15th haha! good stuff!

HAHA not even a little! every little thing you can do to distract yourself from the next [too many] hours leading up to the potential phone calls and letters = absolutely okay and necessary.

the school I'm waiting to hear from tomorrow is where my boyfriend is currently an M2 - so I've been deliberating ways to tell him the news (hoping it's good, of course). It's been a fun way to spend the last couple agonizing days of waiting.

CONGRATS cliff - that's awesome! SO excited to come back here tomorrow and see so much more good news!! :luck:

Yeah, I heard Harvard's class is young compared to Penn's class, for example, which has more non-trads. If it helps any, I know a guy who is in his mid-thirties who is attending Harvard Med. :shrug: No one knows what the adcom will do. They are a sneaky bunch.

i figured that much. i just don't get why uvm asks about them then and wants us to e-mail/call them if we get one.

I didn't think it was anything serious, I mean its not criminal and who hasn't have a speeding ticket yet? I feel like I was the odd one who've never gotten one in the six or seven years I've been driving.

Just got my first decision. Got waitlisted (at a school with tons of movement).

nope, was rushing to get to the hospital I work at now. I felt I was going at the same pace as everyone else and if I slow down it would've been dangerous considering someone was right on my tail, but that doesn't matter.

lol, yeah. I just, I guess I try to be honest and open. And since only a few schools ask about "traffic violations" I was just curious, since those were the one's who would have to know before the CBC, right? I think only UVM and Buffalo asked.. maybe Nova too.

the aamc pushed back the acceptance date to oct. 18 booo!!!

In preparation, I have found the area in my house that constantly has the highest phone signal. My phone will sit there all day tomorrow.
