Yeah, I had a terrible experience with LDR and am never doing that again (unless somehow whomever that is, that she is THE ONE and I feel I gotta give it a try). Sorry to hear that though.

Oh man... so last minute... but I'm still undecided as to where to put a deposit down :scared:. I ruled out two. I keep flip-flopping between the other two.

For me, I know I didn't have the maturity/work ethic/passion to pursue medicine at the beginning of undergrad so I wanna give kudos to all of you who managed to get good grades/mcat scores while doing this the first time.

That said, I also want to give props to those who recognized that their previous career wasn't what they wanted to do, had the guts to go back to school and make a change, and who are now successfully about to enter medical school. That takes a lot of guts.

Speaking of chocolate milky, the BF and I invested in an ice cream maker this weekend and made spicy chocolate ice cream. It rocked!

Though chocolate milky and chocolate ice creamy are not the same thing, I'm guessing. 😉

I'm feeling that too, but not because I was travelling all semester. Because I was goofing off, oops. Oh, the wonders of pass/fail.

I'm now officially done with two classes and I am very happy about that. 🙂

I'll finish one more tomorrow, but the other "finals" I have are for classes that don't end until March. Those and 3 more than we start in January.

Yeah, anatomy lab is an experience. You get used to it pretty fast, but I was really never OK with the head and neck dissections we had to do. I was very lucky to have such awesome group members who didn't care if I just kind of avoided my table during lab.

I'm pretty sure my problem isn't being too quiet. In fact, I never shut up. I think I talk more than any two people which is good, considering my girlfriend is really quiet :d.

Is this some new pop culture slang I am unaware of? The only translations I can think of for "chocolate milky" are either smooth (eg: "This table is way more chocolate milky now that I have sanded it and put a coat of primer on it"), delicious (eg: "This chocolate milk is very chocolate milky."), or dark (eg: "It was so chocolate milky outside that the soldiers had to turn on their nightvision goggles to see.")

Great! She had a BLAST (until she took a header into the hardwood in my mom's living room and cut her lip, but that was AFTER the party proper, thank God)! I still have to post pictures and maybe some videos on FB.

Yup, preferred treatment for bitten lips: Sitting on mommy's lap and insisting she hold her cup of ice water, which must have felt good on her mouth.

Downside: She got blood all over my favorite weekend shirt. It's totalled. 🙁

LOL... no. If I had the chance to try and since it out with cold water right away, I'd have a much better shot at getting it out, but that alone wouldn't have done the trick.

IMO, best method is a little H2O2 on the stain, let it bubble and then scrub some more before you let it soak for awhle. That said, the party was at my mom's and I didn't have another shirt to change into so I was SoL there and the blood was dried by the time I got home. I'm not even going to bother. She got a big splotch of it on my shoulder, a smear on my upper arm, and practically (unintentionall) finger painted by back with it with her right hand.
 
lame sauce. The public University in my town is closed tomorrow due to snow but no, my school is too good for that. I don't want to take my final tomorrow. booooooo.

I want a SNOW DAY! I've only had 1.5 in the last 5.5 years.

that sucks. I remember the day before my biochem I final I felt completely unprepared and felt that I was about to watch my dreams of med school dashed as I failed Biochemistry. I got to school around 4:30am to study, studied till 7:30am and just as I checked my email before heading to my 8am exam, I found that school had been cancelled due to snow. I was like :clap: then ran home, studied all day and killed the final the next day 😀

That's sweet! The public university near me moved their student's finals an entire week back. that might be too much extra time to study.
 
yeah, i'd be pissed if my final got delayed (assuming i was prepared and ready to roll).

I love the Christmas season, but working retail is wearing me down. Extended hours, needy customers, etc. etc. How am I supposed to find time for SDN?? At least santa sits right outside my store so everyone once in a while I can hear him going "ho,ho,ho" and react like a 6 year old.

I adore the sing-off as well (only partially because of On the Rocks) and am thoroughly addicted.

In other news, another (expected) rejection. Always a fun email.

Time to bake my feelings with raspberry shortbread bars and mint chocolate brownies. 👍

Duckie I've been an On The Rocks fan for a LONG time.....I watch their videos on You Tube all the time🙂

This is why I need to get into THAT school....the pie in the sky school. So I can join an acapella group and everything will be hunky dory.


Someone needs to tell me that the reason I haven't been getting into schools is because then I can get into that one amazing awesome school.....right?

I thought it came from that awful movie with an OK commercial with that one fat guy and adam sandler and they go on a multiple family vacation and they tell the kids that wasted means eating too much icecream?


I got really chocolate wasted last night. Just got home after 3 hours of sleep lol. Yay end of finals and 24 hour town (yes even on monday!).
