Good point...by taking care of me, I thought you meant just in a physical way--cooking, cleaning, and ....... I forgot to include emotional support hehe. *sigh*

Mr. Flappety McFlapFlap set a coffee date for Wednesday..we'll see if he doesn't flake out lol.

I have a buddy who flakes on women on purpose. It makes them crazy for him. Makes me wish I lacked respect for others like that, sometimes. Game moves like that are dirty and easy =\

If a girl flakes on me once with a legitimate reason, then fine. But if she flakes on my twice, then I will just get with her best friend and see how she feels about it 😉

haha I don't want my shallow side fully revealed, but a few important qualities are for a woman to have her own personality, and not just be a replica of the man she's dating...and that should include smarts, charm, humor, and a warm heart.

she has to be a good cook (I'm spoiled 😛), and overall, just be my complement.

superficially, a nice ass, nice feet, and I'm a sucker for nice eyes...looks are obviously important haha but I think that what each person wants physically varies a bunch

I like how you're not afraid to say nice feet. The way I word it is not quite the same, but nasty feet or ugly shaped feet are a big turnoff imo.

I like girls who can dance. and cook. and talk about politics. and generally I look for someone with a lot of similar interests and personality traits, but applied in different ways or to different degrees, such that we learn from each other about things we both like. This ideal hasn't come to fruition yet, but it's still one I'm striving for.

1. Passion
2. Intelligence
3. Great sense of humor
4. Trustworthiness
5. The "give and receive emotional support" one mentioned earlier
6. Spontaneity/adaptability
7. Height (not gonna lie, I've never dated a guy under 6') :laugh:
 
And my list of 7:

1. I must be bigger than her. (kind of like the girl's height thing, but also for weight). I feel weird when the girl is bigger than me because then its her protecting me and not the other way around.
2. Smart
3. Must have her own goals. I want her to have her own career and life.
4. Goofy
5. Kind
6. Must want a family of her own and love the one she's got
7. Superficially - thin (see #1), nice hair, nice skin, nice eyes
8. Oooh! And she doesn't have to cook - I love cooking :laugh:. She just has to be willing to clean up the mess I make when I cook. That's a fair trade, right? I cook she clean? 😕
9. She must also be comfortable just staying at home and doing nothing but willing to go out and try new things.

Sure! I've baked with friends a lot and they usually are surprised by how simple good baking can be. These days, a lot of desserts are way overdone and complicated, but there's something to be said for a really good chocolate chip cookie or apple pie.

I wanted to buy these hair clips from Gymboree but they didn't have them at the store and if I bought them online I probably would have had to pay as much in shipping as the things cost themselves (and the rest of the stuff from that store is too rich for my blood) so I decided against it. They matched her dress perfectly. Ah well, she's still too cute for words. 😀

Lol thanks. I don't have a problem if he prefers hispanic women for looks or something, but to act like all white women are spoiled princesses or have been around the block (I believe he was talking about how he didn't want a woman who had been "used up before") is really insulting. I'm not a white woman and it even makes me mad. In actuality, it really sounds like he's bitter at all the white women who rejected him in the past, but thats just my opinion.
 
So I was being superstitious and didn't want to join in on this thread until *after* I was accepted (a.k.a. here I am yay!) but wow, I really wish I found this "safe haven" earlier hahaha.

I was seriously considering taking a long hiatus from SDN because I was sick of all the pointless arguments, so I hope I can hide in here for a while!! 😎
