Class of 2015!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Honestly...I wouldn't want to live there that long, or during those years🙂
I edited so you wouldn't have to see that on the top of the page..I know a midwesterly place where you can spend 4 years that is sooooo amazing... 😉

just bought a reasonably priced ticket to the Duke game Friday, that was almost made unreasonable by fees and shipping. oh well, C'est la vie.

I appreciate you guys telling me the other stuff I have to look forward to...but I am entitled to a little bit of mourning. It is ok for me to be sad about this.

Cougs, absolutely.

I'm kinda getting annoyed at the amount of money I'm hemorrhaging. and its just getting started...

I would've thought you meant this for me haha...😛

I think thyroid cancer is one of the least of your worries if there was a nuclear catastrophe. Infection, hemolytic anemia, and lack of edible food are more pressing concerns with much quicker effects than thyroid cancer developing decades later.

+1...Hoody, don't worry so much. Shanks is right about what are more imminent dangers during a natural disaster.

I'm not diminishing the risk of thyroid cancer, that is a concern especially with the Japanese populace right now (and any paper you read about the long-term effects of Chernobyl), but the other three consequences are much more imminent during radiation poisoning.

Well...looks like I wasn't accepted into my Pie in the Sky school🙁
Awwww 🙁

You forgot radioactive zombies. That's clearly threat #1.

It is SO NICE out in LA... I will be very very sad if I have to move to a place with cold weather.

Agreed Daisy! Cougs and I went out to Downtown Disney today! It was AMAZING!! Perfect combination of weather and stuff to do!

Cougs, do you want to tell them the bus story, or should I? I think your perspective might be a little bit more "hilarious" 😛

lol harvard thinks I'm gay

(because I put that I was interested in their LGBT stuff)

ok maybe that's typically a good indicator, but I found it funny regardless

Don't messs with our community by making them think you're gay when you're not. Gets our hoes falsely up! haha

Our home inspection went really well! Eeee!

Yay! (Also, I read what you wrote in the Temple thread about your dream about 2nd look...)

I know, it's been be-yoo-tiful here! And I was just at Downtown Disney and Disneyland over the weekend, too bad you weren't there then. (I like to think my SDN-radar would have been able to spot you guys in a crowd. I have mad skillz.)

Lol. Was that intentional? :eyebrow:

Haha my thoughts exactly.

Oh, and if anyone's looking for a nice entertaining read, check out the "cheat on my wife" thread in the all-students forum. 👍

The Scene: Outside of a theme park. A line of 12 BRIGHT BLUE buses are parked at the curb to take us back to our parking spot. Trio and I are walking toward the first bus.

Me: We'd better hurry. If we don't get on that bus, who knows how long we'll have to wait for the next one

Trio: <starts jogging>

Me: Dude.....there are like 47 buses. I was kidding.

Large family next to us: <laughing hilariously> (including the 4 year old kid)

Trio: Oh.....I thought you were serious. <blushing>

Me: <laughing so hard that I had to stop walking>

Cold weather builds character.

One of the M2s at MCW joked that they have a good laugh at the expense of the Cali transplants confronted with having to clean their cars of snow for the first time.

That having been said, I could smell spring in the air for the first time in a long while. It was glorious.

when are you going to hear back!?

...forgot to multiquote so I figured it was useless to start now

I'd like to think I'll hear back by this Friday, since that'll be 3 weeks... but who knows. Waiting for snail mail decisions is torture.

Cougs - so you recently went to the aquarium and then to Downtown Disney? What's with all the field trips?

Well, first, I have a list of things I want to do before leaving California. Hence the Aquarium. Dinner at Craft, Six Flags, and The Wild Animal Park are next.

The Disney trip was because I was sad today, and Disney is where I go to feel better. Trio was helping me feel better.

Awwwww don't be sad! Hearing you're sad makes me sad 🙁

Just got in last week. Pretty excited, but the school implied that the only thing I can do (currently) to deal with financial aid questions is to file my FAFSA (which I did). Oh man it'd be nice to get financial aid over with now

Not confirmed yet! 😛

Haha, I gues since it's not confirmed, we do gotta try and take a stab at him...*giggles*

Haha, she did a very good job..it was like taking your kid to the dentist...

*Cougs and I get into the car (and I'm driving)*
Me: "Where are we going?"
Cougs: You'll find out... Take ____ freeway Northbound to the ____
Me: okay....*drives a bit* what next?
Cougs: Take ___ freeway North
Me: WHERE ARE WE GOING?!
Cougs: *spills the beans*

Me: *At the park* why did you not tell me earlier?
Cougs: Because I was afraid you wouldn't want to go!

so much hilarity within the past 4 hours on this thread. well-done.

I'd think you were gay too. Either way, I think you should wear dbeast's shirt to second look.

On another note, I hope SDSU plays Duke in the west.

Congratulations!

yeah, i hope duke crushes them too. kyrie is backkkk...!

Haha...I promise I won't do any "poking" if we meet. 😛
Lol thank goodness.

PS totally got told by an enterprise person that b/c I was under 25 I couldn't rent a luxury/premium car. Went over to the other location and they were totally cool with it. The person at the former location just assumed that cuz I am a college student, I'll beat the crap out of the car (she mentioned as such)

Oh well... went with nice new minivans instead.

Long Beach here I come (late this month)

Now now, don't make promises you don't want to keep.

Lol thank goodness.

Haha..Flow has free reign to poke me...but I don't do any poking lol. Not my style 😉
