In other news, I'm also majorly ticked at Sony which has managed to screw me not once, but twice. For those of you who don't know, Sony got hacked due to their crappy security and as a result leaked the profile information of 77 million PSN users, among them, ME. They also waited a week to tell anyone so I couldn't take any preventative measures, like I don't know, changing all my passwords and canceling my card #?
They also claimed that their online portion (SOE) was completely unaffected, but released a statement Monday saying that the found out the original hack also got their SOE portion, thus exposing another 28 million accounts. Me screwed, again. They also said that their credit card information was not exposed as it was encrypted, but a number of these supposedly safe credit card numbers were found trying to be sold on a criminal site according to msnbc news. Screwed, again, by Sony.
