I find this funnier than I should now, thanks to you guys.

As president I'm more or less doing some and delegating some of the following: organizing trips to PT clinics, organizing school sponsored trips to PT programs at nearby universities (nearby being a very relative word 😉), organizing info sessions on all things PT and how to become a PT, etc.

I saw that thread title about the PT society and knew that there would be shenanigans within.

It now occurs to me that, after reading the thread, I don't actually remember what the society in question was about.

My CNM was kinda pissed because the hospital called her like, "We have a stat U/S reading for Geekchick921." And she was like :scared: thinking she was about to be told bad news about me. No. Everything's fine that they could see. They just have insufficient images of Geekling's spine and heart.
 
Hey guys, I wondered if you could help me out. My 26 mcat and 3.somethinglow got me into several top 20 schools with scholarships because I'm awesome and I just plain don't know what to do.

Yay I'm excited too! I just withdrew from the very last of my other schools today, so now it's 100% official, I'm Philly-bound! (And I wasn't holding the other acceptance to be a d-bag, but my school has been having major problems with my financial aid application, so I didn't want to turn down all other schools and find out later I have no way of paying for school.)

Also, I just took the final for my lame-o online biochem class I had been doing, so that feels good. And I finished the exam earlier than expected, so I have the rest of the day off work. 🙂 Celebracion!

Longshanks: you hear anything from that Philly school yet? I'm afraid they might take awhile to get moving.

Nope haven't heard anything. And yes, I saw in a few threads that they take awhile to get moving, so I can be patient.

I will be there probably mid-July? I want to get used to the city and have a little fun before med school starts 🙂
 
Got an acceptance yesterday from UBC in my home city of Vancouver. Will be attending. 🙂

The pre-med ordeal is over!
