I want to know why it is that class threads (as in C/O 2014 etc.) aren't moved out of the pre-allo forum and into the medstudent forum after matriculation.

The option my class was given with that was either all-students (which no longer exists) or stay here. The powers that be in allo don't want their pit of despair soiled with anything that's not super-serious.

Although the moderating of allo has become less uptight lately (for instant the study music thread has been left alone) so maybe they'd be open to it now.

IMO, The Illusionist was way better. The ending of The Prestige jumped the shark for me, but I thought the ending of the Illusionist was damn good.

IIRC, we watched The Illusionist first, then The Prestige, because really, I feel like once you watch one you need to see the other to compare. You should check them out because, as you are generally my brain twin, I want to know what you think. 🙂

Well, she is pretty amazing. She's also one of the few female artists of her genre that don't have to gyrate in a leotard in every performance just to put on a show. Classy.

I drank NyQuil, I didn't lick my lips well enough afterward before falling asleep, I woke up and the NyQuil had given me a burn after sitting on my skin for hours. Toothpaste and many foods/drinks would have done the same thing.

Sorry if I sound snippy. My lips still sting. Also, I just spent ten minutes googling pictures of oral herpes just in case 😱

You know what, I'm going to jump on this bandwagon, sort of. I never saw the illusionist, so it doesn't interfere with my having enjoyed the prest....presti....no I can't say the word either. Thanks, sdn.

I didn't love the movie, and people had over-hyped it before I saw it, but there were some interesting twists and overall I enjoyed it. And I'll see your man-crush on Christian Bale and raise you one on Hugh Jackman. Although I admit I've totally ignored whatever slanderous details the media tossed around about Bale's family/personal life.
