That is seriously one of the things I miss most from before having Chicklet. My mom seriously needs to baby proof a bedroom so she can take her the kiddo for the night again. She hasn't taken her in well over a year, I think, probably more like 2. *Twitch*

I'm with you there! I have like 4 boxes of stuff so far, each about 40 lbs. One of those boxes is full of winter clothes/nightwear lol. I feel bad for the postal workers that will be dealing with those boxes! I don't even want to know how much my luggage will weigh...🙁

Haha, this "studying" will likely consist of haphazardly looking at the note card while paying more attention to Sportscenter. Although I feel like these cards might be a good way to pass the time on the treadmill...

Ok, so the last place I looked at during today's apartment hunt was probably waaay more awesomer than anyone not actually pulling in an income has a right to live in. It has an outdoor patio. Like, a real bona fide patio. Suitable for barbeques and other fun things. And a beautiful, private inner courtyard shared with the adjoining units in the property.

I was like MUST GET. But we (my roommates and I) might get beat to the punch. And then we'd probably have to settle for the more reasonable (but not as awesome, and a more significant downgrade from my current standard of living) apartment. I would has a sad. *sigh*

We are. But since I was the only one (of the three of us who would actually be living in the place--at ~100 miles, I'm the closest of us) that actually got to see the place (I took some pics but I should have taken more--both of this one and the other less awesome place), we had to do some discussin' before we got the ball rolling. Supposably there's another couple who also saw the place and is interested, so it depends on who gets in the forms first.

Side note: some people live like utter slobs. ugh.

One of my sister's ex-bosses went from OB to OB until she found one that said she could drink a glass of wine a day. But really, who can say no to mimosas?
 
That's the first drink I've had in 5 months and probably the last I'll have for 3 1/2 more. It was included with brunch, too, and it was small.

Lol, my brother called me a sissy today and told me that I either need to hire furniture assemblers for my bedroom of Ikea ****, or man up, get power tools, and put my **** together over the course of six weeks (because it'll take me that long)! He's probably right, considering I've never put anything together before...
 
I had to print this out in order to figure out what I need to buy at Ikea when I go there in a few weeks! I don't actually "know" what I need, and will likely forget to buy "essentials"...like certain cookware items, like a spatula lol.
 
How did I not know this Ikea sale existed? The boy and I want to purchase new couches there, and cheaper would be great since this is some of the more permanent Ikea stuff.

They advertise the Ikea summer sale on the radio here, but I think they only start ads once the sale starts. Not everything is on sale, but you can usually find some pretty cool things marked down.

LOL! That's smart, but I doubt my roommate would go for that haha! That being said, thank goodness for that list, or I will definitely forget SOMETHING.
 
words with friends is such bull****.

For the past few days, if I can't think of a word, I simply put in whatever combination of letters both looks vaguely word-like and gives me the highest score...and most of the time the game accepts it as a word.

Winning strategy.
