for real though, it's hard for me to understand why anyone would get an xbox over a ps3.. hardware failures, underpowered, no bluray, pay for online multiplayer..

you can pay for a high quality multiplayer that actually works or you could use the junk ps3 multiplayer for free while having your information hacked and then not play at all while the system is down for an eternity. your choice 😀

The Bluray player was actually somewhat compelling for me, but then I realized that I don't own a 1080p television and I likely won't for a while. If I had a 1080p TV, I definitely would've gone with a PS3.

I'm hoping the new iteration of the Box will have minimal problems unlike the earlier models.

It was really disheartening that the most catastrophic widespread hardware failure (the red ring of death) was due to the fact that Microsoft skimped and used a cheaper brand of glue for mounting the GPU. :laugh:

So I was talking to Suncrusher just now about how I was hungry and craving some nuts, and somehow we got on the topic of peanuts. He said that " yeah peanuts are just...a disappointment." to which I had responded "ya, they're small and not as good as the bigger nuts"

Definitely true....in all contexts.

Hee. I figured I'd at least take down my "pre-medical" status, but I won't acknowledge that I'm a full-fledged med student until I get that account statement that effectively says I now have more debts than assets. :cry:

I'm fielding questions from this cycle's thread for my school... it's pretty cute. But maybe that's only because I don't have the celebrity status of people like Nick and my inbox isn't overflowing with PMs.

I agree tho. I actually thought it was interesting that, from my very little experience in allo, people don't seem to post their school/class/status as often anymore.

I didn't participate. If I'm being totally blunt about it, it was a bunch of gunners who obviously weren't going to get in arguing about how awesome they were. At least, that was the subtext to the arguments.

I tend to read between the lines. Sometimes I'm totally off base, but I don't think I was in this case.
