Might wanna change that habit in med school tho. At one of my interviews, they did a calculation for how much it would cost to get a coffee and a bagel every morning, and it came out to like over 5g's over 4 years, which can balloon up to around 10g's by the time you have to pay it back.
 
your 41 MCAT is incredibly intimidating.

i only RARELY buy coffee when i'm out. it's usually because i'm out and have no other choice. home brew is always the better way to go in terms of cost.

I think it looks messy and greasy haha. But that's the only "manly" thing I dislike. I hate guys who shave their legs, get eyebrow waxes, etc

...and get pedicures, spends an hour in the shower, have hair so gelled up it could be used as a weapon, etc.

yup, i presume you're indian, and man do you guys have hair chests. i'm hairy for an east asian, but still no chest hair. i can't grow a full facial hair either, since my moustache can't connect with my goatee. that kinda bothers me, since i kinda wanna grow a beard so i can look older(i.e. my age), but i don't wanna keep grooming it so the only option available is a fu man chu, not cool 🙁

Haha, sorry 🙁 I've never seen the show so I have no idea...but I guess I am geeky, so that isn't far from the truth. As for FGCU, it's literally on the gulf coast of florida. It's very far south florida, a little north of the keys, across the state from miami.

Thanks, I know I can always retake..but I think I'm most worried about seeing how bad I really did do, not the fact that I would have to retake. I would kill for your mcat score lol

Lots of shoving everything in (thats what she said) and not getting to enjoy much of anything. Besides, FGCU really really stresses community service so we have to have 80 hours to graduate, and take two class that require 10 hours (one is environment based) and being in honors requires me to do a ton of community service.

whoa, didnt know some colleges require community service. still, you have just about every experience possible. ive always wished to become more organized, motivated, and basically less lazy in general. so jealous.

We're pretty much one of the only colleges that does. In fact, I just finished a class where it's main theme is civic engagement, where you learn about how to help the community and how to plan and complete projects. We have to work with a community partner all semester, and mine was in a town with one of the highest poverty levels.
 
Yea, I definitely haven't heard of another college that does that. It seems like it would give you plenty of exposure for medicine, no? Do a lot of the graduates go into the health care professions then?
 
Mr. Geek and I have read the Kick-Ass comic and we love it! I think we're going to go see it May 1st afternoon. My mom offered to watch Chicklet.

Yeah I knew what you looked like during your earlier avatar phase. But I had a tough time picking which photo to use for myself. its hard to distinguish myself among my indian brothers so i went with the more emo one haha.

i have no qualms talking to anyone on here ona personal level off of sdn. but, forcing yourself to reveal your identity on here is like public exhibitionism.
