Class of 2015!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
if you're both ug students i'm pretty sure it is within the rules.

you'd be the type of doctor who dates a hot patient

this ain't grays anatomy

what? real life is exactly like tv?

ew, i would have seen the pt at his worst, which is not cool. we need to keep our hottness going on until at least the 5th month in.

Unfortunately, I consider it a breach of ethics to date/whatever someone who is currently a student, so I haven't done any of that business 🙁

For 90% of courses at my school TA's have no grade input, so I don't have that problem 😛

strangely, i agree.

Hmm...my school is notorious for teacher-student relationships and sexual harrassment cases 🙁

i wonder what specialty sees the most attractive single, kid-free females, not considering ob/gyn

i feel like plastics would see more average-ugly people trying to become attractive.

perhaps, my theory was that people opting for plastic surgery probably already have an appearance complex, meaning they're a 9, and want to be a 10. solid either way

it's hard because even if i find you attractive you need to be able to have a convo with me without me getting bored, and.........prob the guys getting plastics done ....are not like that....

infectious diseases is the best, you know they're loose too.
(after treatment, of course)

i don't really like fake boobs and stuff, but if you don't care then plastics is def pretty good too

I'm going to guess dermatology would be good, and plastics.
i'm thinking ortho, PM&R, and psych probably too
Definitely not ortho (I love that specialty btw), but it is mostly old folfs who need hips, middle aged people hurt from working out, and the occasional cute girl being seen for trauma (ie: broken wrist from snowboarding, or broken leg from soccer). Psych would be cool, I've dated a few crazies that were pretty fun.
Bummer, I've had input in both of the courses I've TA'd for =(. Once class I determined a student's extra credit grade and the other I grade stuff in addition to teaching soooo yeah lol.
I wasn't thinking of grading test. We usually only get to grade 1 or two problems each so it would be hard to make a big diff on someones grade. Sometimes freshman TA's get to give points for attendance/participation to discussion sections, but in upper div classes that doesn't fly.

you ever notice they used the kinks you really got me in that song?

"boy, you really got me goin," etc

little tid bit for you there

haha. what about the ones with ongoing treatment dingy? everybody needs love.

well if she's hot enough then with proper protection...

maybe i should just accept fake boobs, go to miami, go into plastics, and open a practice just like christian in nip/tuck

What kind of mechanism question? Based on my experiences, the MCAT really doesn't have many mechanisms that you need to know. Basically it's just the substitutions and the eliminations, and as long as you know them well and you know the trends/definitions(chirality, all the types of isomers) well you've got 80% of orgo covered.
For example: I remember a passage that showed a synthesis, and one of the associated questions asked the name of the mechanism shown in step X.

come one, cut them some slack. Just because he is getting calf implants doesn't mean he's a bimbo 😛

See! Don't even put up a fight! And you wonder why I went to your father...

father like son

i was thinking more along the lines of sports med. i should've been more specific.

I've heard most guys hate fake boobs, is that true?

You know, as great as soccer players are, you've just gotta love volleyballers. I could make their bedrock oooh oooh aaa ooh. (//pop culture allusion continuation, not JUST being dirty, =P//)
volleyballers, FTW.

Haha I used to play soccer and volleyball

Okay, the bio section in AAMC #6 was a beast, like the people in the 5/1 MCAT thread warned me about. Ick. Yeah, organic mechanisms need reviewing. That said.

Practice test = 37! 15/11/11.

Also, I hate getting antibiotics, and I prefer to let my body take care of business on its own, but this cold/respiratory infection thing I have has GOT to go. If it's not gone by halfway through this week I'm asking for a Z-pack or something. I do NOT want to be sick for the MCAT. I got to the end of bio and I didn't go back to check my answers. I just want to go to bed! So I'm talking the dog out, washing up, and hitting the hay.

what a party crasher

Derm gets my vote, too. Plastics is going to be more older women wanting tummy tucks, breast lifts, lipo, facelifts, etc. Speaking of which, I want a mommy makeover for my 35th birthday, assuming we don't want any more kids by then.
