i might be filling mine up, or almost all 15, but not sure if i really want to. for me at least, some of the things are like one or two time things i did and nothing serious, but i might just add it because technically it is extra curricular

they're all real things too, except my hobby one where i combined all of them into one slot
 
I'm lazy - for some reason I can't pull the energy together to fill that out. I have 8 so far, with maybe 5 more to go? I'm also secretly hoping that the paper that I submitted a while ago will get accepted before application time. I considered waiting but honestly that will probably take forever...
 
I have plenty cool ECs too...Im just wondering how far back adcoms are wiling to consider relevant/worthy..

asap. that way everything is ready and they can verify your transcripts which takes the longest. When your mcat is out you can then be done. also word of advice since you are applying very late which will hurt you, you might want to write all the secondaries before hand. You wont even get a secondary september/october, but ideally you would have them all done so when they get in you can submit day 1. Which will somewhat help your late app. All secondaries will be on SDN so you can easily see what needs to be done.

went and got my essay edited today. the lady said "wow you really know how to write"

i was thinking, "what kind of drugs are you on? i hope the adcom is smoking the same thing as you"

anyways, just some little things to change, add and move around and "elaborate" on some important things

One of my LOR writers provided me with a copy of his LOR. Said LOR was factually incorrect on how long I've been working for him, which conflicts with my work/activities section. I emailed LOR writer and he fixed it and sent me the new LOR, which is still not fixed -- he made the error in two places and fixed it in one. But, the unfixed part is not definite as to the time scale, whereas the fixed part was. So, I don't know if I really want to bug him more. This is the most stressful crap ever.

i had the same problem, but i just left it. if they ask me, the place i worked at has my records of the accurate stuff so i dont really care whats in the letter

I will definitely chill. Just need to get through Saturday and the move to my new apartment.

Hell, I might not even have a job this summer since I just found out my usual summer employment might not take me back this time. :laugh: That would be ultimate chill.
 
my program just ended, so i'm really hoping i get hired tomorrow for this research job. otherwise i'll be picking up whatever i can at the Y throughout the summer.

I've worked on/off for a movie theater for almost 5 years. My theater might not be able to rehire me because of my interesting schedule this time around (I don't want to work much and almost no weekends). I might be able to get a job at another theater with the same company because it's bigger and has higher employee turnover, though. We'll see.

I need some form of income for 2 months especially since I will now have bills to pay a little earlier than expected.

"Class of 2015" is pretty wishful thinking, huh?

Things have gotten bad when I've taken to visiting my parents, obsessively going over my work/activities section, and sampling different types of vodka just to stop worrying about the MCAT scores I'll be getting in a couple weeks. Sigh.
 
Grrrr. I am annoyed with both other people and myself in regards to this whole med school application business.
 
Not today, though that's part of it.

I also want my advisor from my alma mater to get back to me about my damn composite letter and why it hasn't been uploaded to Interfolio yet.

And I'm being an ass about some stuff myself.
 
🙁 This process kind of sucks. We still have plenty of time to sort things out, though.

I also checked the score report system on both the release dates for the 4/18 group and the 4/23 group, just in case someone accidentally uploaded mine with them. I know that's stupid... I don't care.

I checked the site obsessively when I was waiting - I totally get you. Also, because my life is crappy, they didn't upload scores on my test date (6/18/09) until really late at night, maybe 11 pm? So I was in my research lab, refreshing that screen every half hour, basically ignoring everything else. My PI was so not pleased...

But your practice scores were good so you should be just fine! Also, might I suggest:
