For me, I believe my ACMAS is all but done. I may had one more work/activity and they still don't have my transcripts (slackers!) and one of my letter still needs to get uploaded to interfolio and then I have to add them, then I can submit. If it's not ready to go by this time next week, I shall kill.

Just FYI, amcas will add interfolio letters within a day of submission (even the one letter I snail mailed to amcas was up with a quickness).

No, it still feels hypothetical. I think it's because the process of just thinking about applying is so long. Still staying positive (except for when I look at some of these secondaries!).

It will go by quick and we'll all be discussing how awesome it will be to start at our new schools this time next year. I plan to deal with the secondaries as they come... I've thought over any possible question enough so I'll just write things down as I need to.

My best friend lives in Boston though, and somehow I am always there when it is -21 "with the windchill" or whatever the heck that means.

Cold is cold.

I run SUPER hot, actually. I figure skate and I do it in a tank top too. I am a weird Californian...I actually hate summer and like cold. When I lived in DC I was perfectly happy except for when it was hot. This is one (of many) reasons why I am debating applying to University of Hawaii🙂 That and humidity makes my hair go from zero to Shaft in 20 seconds.

there are a few reasons why. but to make is easier, lets just say that I am not bound by family or debt (or most normal adult things) and I view this as an amazing opportunity to immerse myself in a completely different culture. I haven't completely ruled out living internationally forever. Also, I work with a graduate of the school and they rave about it. 👍

I don't expect most people to understand where I am coming from or identify why I wouldn't want to do this....so its sorta hard for me to explain without busting out a novel or something.
