Hubs wants to freelance eventually, so he would be a work at home dad, hopefully by the time I'm an attending. I think that would work out great.

Meh. Two of my schools mailed them the end of last week. My alma mater either mailed it late yesterday or sometime today. I just faxed another set of request forms to my problem school, I called and they said they got it, and said they'd take care of it. It BETTER show up by Friday.

As of yesterday, AMCAS has one of the ones that was sent last week, but not the other.

amcas might actually have the other one, but haven't put it in the system yet...aacomas finally got my last transcript while amcas had it since last week

i actually have no idea who this is lol...i saw this pic online and really liked it...i've never watched true blood, but i've wanted to get into it

i feel you...that mess is ridiculous...i would've cursed people out
 
I WANT to curse someone out, then I feel bad when they pick up the phone because they're just some poor smuck working in the registrar's office and it probably wasn't there fault.
 
ah true...well if it's not resolved by friday, then the poor person who answers the phone will have to take it...and then you can curse out the person in charge

yup! the longer they don't have the transcript, the longer it takes to get verified...you can't let that **** go
 
AMCAS wont send anything to the schools until the 25th, so there is still time. Getting verified is taking a little longer now, but were still have two weeks!
 
I know, but like MissB said, the longer you wait, the longer it'll take. I'm only applying to 5 schools total so I don't want to F around!
 
yup, definitely still have time. but i submitted on the 3rd (at like 1 am) and i'm still not verified, so i can only imagine how long it'll take if people submit 2 weeks from now
 
yeah. i need to check out some west coast destinations.

a science class for my major...and its so boring :/

i hope he makes it like the midterm, which was pretty predictable. still hard, but at least i geared my studying towards certain sections

uhh one summer class, but hopefully a lot of chillin and relaxin...taking care of secondaries and stuff too i guess...hopefully i can have some time for a vacation or two too
 
finding a job lol

secondaries of course...and traveling needs to happen. once i find a job and have money, i have to decide where i wanna go and with who

Excited for this afternoon. Once I get home at 4:00 can watch my mini-World Cup today on ESPN2. My team failed to make the finals this year 🙁. Hopefully they can put up a fight and knock off the Spanish juggernaut.

Get to see my avatar (Jakub Błaszczykowski) dribble up and down the right wing like a maniac.

AMCAS now has two of my transcripts!

Two more to go! Hopefully they'll be in by the end of the week!

I completely understand why people say undergrad classes do not help that much in med school. I've taken almost all the possible "recommended" and "helpful" classes (human biology major) but I still feel like it all barely scratches the surface.
